I'm a new consultant (just over a month!) and I'm wondering if anyone has incorporated social networking online as part of their Mary Kay business? I know that the main avenue of building your client base should be face-to-face contacts and parties, but I wonder if it's worth the time to network online as well....like on Facebook, Twitter, and on blogs and forums? I also know Mary Kay has some policies in place, which I think we're discussing in an upcoming unit meeting. So....just wondering your thoughts and opinions!

If you are on Facebook, you can become a fan of Mary Kay. Once you do that, you can "share" company sponsored materials on the site.

Some of my hosts successfully create events on FB and find that it is easier to use that than to use the MK e-vites.

Oh, and there are also guidelines and suggested tweets on MKintouch. They have a much more progressive policy than other Direct Sales companies.
