With Jewel Kade being so new, what's a good way to develop the area? We have about 20 stylists in Ohio and we've held a couple of opportunity events but they are not the greatest turn-out because people just don't know what Jewel Kade is! How would you network and advertise a new business?
Thank you,
Rachel

Have you done any inexpensive public venues, Rachel?
That's how I found out about it and now I've been a good client, host and am now helping my friend get her business off the ground.

Well I've done 2 craft shows and we are getting ready to do another one in 3 weeks. We went on Daytime Columbus and then held an Opportunity Event following day. We just held another Opportunity Event yesterday, with 4 interested in signing, so I say that was a success! We are doing a lot of team events together. I'm wondering what I can do personally...
So far I've visited a couple salons and asked if I could lay my catalog in their reception area, I've joined this forum, I've made a Facebook fan page...and I'm getting GREAT responses and leads.
I want to know if there is anything I haven't thought of yet. I know this business takes time to build though :)

Hi,
How is it going with your business? I just signed up with Jewel Kade. There are a few of us in PA but we are scattered. I am excited and I liked hearing about your ideas on how to get started. Any thing more would be great!

My business with Jewel Kade is steady and going very well. I sell on average between $3,000-$4,000 every month. I'm a Crystal Leader Level 1 now which I'm VERY excited about! Just got back from conference and that was a ton of fun...very inspiring to be arround the amazing group of women that make up JK. We are part of something fabulous and special.
Have you scheduled your business launch yet? Make sure you get lots of bookings at your launch. Ask EVERYBODY that you know to come check out your business and this amazing charmware. Stress that they must come see it in person because that makes all the difference. Be willing to travel...if you want a strong team this is the way to do it! Good Luck! ~Rachel

Congratulations Rachel!!
I just moved back to MT & will be developing the state, as I am the only leader. I plan to travel to do shows...focusing on one to two areas/month, launching my new stylist and holding local meetings. I will do 2 biz opps/month & 2 biz opp calls/mon, alternating weeks. I think that it will grow like wildfire!!!
