I login to Wahm.com & click on the WORK AT HOME JOBS in the Margin on the LEFT....and there you go-a veritable TREASURE CHEST of millionaire jobs-data entry jobs that pay anywhere from $300 to $1,000.00 PER DAY....

And WAHM puts a great warning & disclaimer-Looking for a Work-at-Home Job?
Read this First!
Be careful out there ... you should NEVER have to pay someone to work for them! There shouldn't be any fees associated with the jobs listed here. Watch out for scams. If an employers asks for money, it's a red flag. They're supposed to pay you.
We try to screen jobs here, but we get fooled, too. So do your homework, come to the boards, ask questions, be careful.

Don't get me wrong-this is all good advice-but come on now-has anyone here went to work for one of these Data Entry companies that pay $300 to $1,000.00 per day-Full Time Expected Income: $10,000-$15,000/month No need to commute to work ??

I have yet to answer one of these ads that was on the level....MY QUESTION is WHY are these kinds of ads listed here on WAHM.com-a place that is FOR REAL??

Am I wrong-are some of these $15,000.00 a month FOR REAL? SOMEONE PLEASE help me understand? <g> Honest I am not trying to be a SMART-A_ _ .... please help me understand how to find a decent job that pays a decent wage?
Thanks in advance!

I totally agree with ya I've been around here for so long I never even look at those anymore I think the reason they are there is because that's the paid advertising spot and I'm not sure all the rules on that. Imo I agree it is in bad taste b/c some people don't pay attention and fall for that kind of stuff.

You might be better off posting this in the Talk to the Admin part of the board or then again it might end up getting moved there :)! And your right anyone boasting those figures I would run away from. Welcome to the wonderful world of wahm.

The reason they are here is because the traffic and keywords associated with the site bring up those kinds of ads and ads are the main revenue source for websites.

It's Google powered (adsense) and google just puts up whatever goes with the keywords that are most common on the site so you'll find things that are "work at home" related (although not necessarily legit) and employment related (tax sites, etc).

It's not WAHM's fault exactly since they're just trying to make money to keep the site up and running.

I agree that you should never pay a fee for a job or an income opportunity. There are a lot of positions posted within this section of the forum itself, and members are usually pretty quick to point out any issues with a posted position. There really are a lot of great things in this forum. :)

Agreed. However, I do see how it can be misleading - especially for how many newbies there are that might not yet know any better. I wish there was a way WAHM could filter the ads that appear.
