Just wondering how many of you are in leadership with your company and what's one cool thing your company did just because you are a leader? Could be a special trip, a cool "trinket", a fun exclusive celebration just for leaders...you name it.
I'll jump right in by saying yes, I am a leader! I have been with "Tastefully Simple" for 11 years and have been in leadership 10 years and 9 months with them! ha ha ;-)
I have been really blessed and impressed more times than I can even remember but I would say one of the highlights was being on an Executive Retreat with just about 20 of my peers and our Prez/VP's. We were in Palm Springs, CA sitting under a starlit sky by a firepit enjoying a glass of wine and some great conversation and I remember just looking up and around me feeling very lucky and very appreciated by my company. One of the coolest trips I've ever been on.

With Gold Canyon, once you become manager you get a bunch of perks. I joined this group August 31/2009
You get a necklace with the gold canyon logo. I believe you get a piece of jewellery when you hit each different management level
You get an all expensive paid trip to Arizona for 2 days of training. The only thing I paid for was food at the airport.
I think there are some other perks higher up, but I'm not there.

I've heard about those kinds of trips with direct sales and I never thought it was achievable for me in the previous companies I was with. Jewel Kade doesn't have anything like that in place yet being in our soft launch phase but I can't wait until they do!!
I LOVE Tastefully Simple! Every time I serve it at a party it ends up completely gone!!! So yummy :) Are your new catalogs out yet?

I am a leader with DOVE, for about 2 1/2 years now. As a growing company we are getting more and more perks but two stand out- before the kick off of each event, we are treated to a special meal with just our managers and our President and VP- this last one was at the Culinary Institute of America in Napa Valley!
Also, I was the first Sales Director with the company, so I was the first person to have my picture on the Director's "Wall of Fame".

As a founder of a business I hope my employees found strength through watching me work extremely hard in the office despite my battle with cancer.
