In your opinion what is the best method of team training? Also, how do you keep your team motivated? I can't wait to hear your responses!

The best way to keep your team excited and motivated is to be excited yourself! :) They will model your behavior. So I stay excited and try to be the best consultant on my team. If I am setting appointments, sponsoring and doing my business, they will follow.

For trainings we do a combination of conference calls and local trainings. We train on self development first and then new products, consultant activities and usually one or two other topics of interest.

What about you? :)

I could not agree more with Steff. I hope the reason I have been blessed with such a great team is due (even a small part) to the fact that I have a true passion for direct sales and my company. I hope that passion shows through in everything I do from my team web site to my monthly newsletters and more.

Wishing you all the best, Melissa. Just because you ask, shows that you care.

I don't know if there is one best method. I have team members who love to e-mail me or call me and chat about ways to grow their business. I have other team memebrs who don't like to make much contactt but tell me they are on our webinars every week and my team training site. others I hardly hear from and they are doing great independently.
I also send out motivational e-mails or updates about the business every week to 10 days or so.

The best thing to do is to stay involved, stay in touch, be focused and positive, continue growing as a leader and lead by example.

Best wishes,
Debra

Since each person has a unique style and method of learning, I have learned that it will be different for different people.

I host a weekly team training webinar; have a team training site; and focus more one on one personal time with those who I personally enroll. Some go right to the site, get what they need and get going. Others email and call asking for exact direction in finding what they need.

I like to check in every few days with my new distributors in the beginning, for the first two months. That is usually a great indicator of where things are headed.

With a local team, a monthly team training face to face is really helpful. It goes a long way toward bonding and such!

As far as motivating, I realized a long time ago that it is impossible to try to "motivate" another person. You can inspire through your own actions and enthusiasm, but motivation has to come from within.

That's why so many people come away from their convention so pumped up and ready to commit and ROCK! And, then real life sets in, fears come back, and nothing happens.

The WHY has to be strong enough for each individual.

Expect Success!
