Good luck Rudie~ You will have success with these candles. Just make sure you have the SOCP ~ people go crazy for that scent ! smileys/smiley2.gif

Well Christina you were right. Of'course I didn't have any SOCP. I actually sold it all my last party. It is not one of my favorites. So I ended up taking orders which is fine. I don't have much stock at all. Tonight the Bella Bars were a hit. Almost everyone ordered one. I did just under $400 in sales. I can't believe I've sold $800 in just five days. I booked a party as well. I can't believe people don't like to do parties. They are sooooo easy.

Rudie- wow I just might start to do some home parties. I've doing this awhile and havent done them. That's great that youve sold that many, who knows these could be repeat customers for you. Don't forget your label on the candles. smileys/smiley2.gif

Well the parties are easy. I try and set everything up nicely. When the guest arrive I ask them to fill out a ticket for the raffle. Once everyone has arrived I talk briefly, very briefly about the candles. I tell them how awesome they are. I show a parrafin jar the kind used to burn covered in soot than I pass around one of my bella jars burned evenly to the bottom without any soot. Of'course I have a jar burning. So they can smell how wonderful the scents are and see how beatiful they burn. Then I invite my guests to smell all the samples from my display bag. They fill out orders, grab a bite to eat, chat and before every leaves I raffle off a few votives. Easy. Remember I am not a sales person. I am only a mia bella addict.

Hi Ruth,

I am so glad that you are having a wonderful time with your parties! They sound wonderful! I may have to try one and see how it goes. I am like Deanna, I hated PL too b/c of all the talking and selling them on things! Your way seem much easier!

Many Blessings,

Natalie

I have done a few home parties and Ruth is right!! They are soooo easy and fun!!

I do a couple opening games and give out free votive prizes and then spend about 15 on the whole speel about the products and the company. And then we get to smelling!!

What better way to make a few hundred dollars in a matter of an hour?

This is a great way to jump start your business!! I suggest all new people to get with a family member or close friend and have at least one party or open house to get your name and product out there!!

Once you do it, you will be hooked!!!

And now we have alot more wonderful products to offer!!

YAY!!!!!

aka The PARTYMASTER

PS Got some positve feedback in regards to wed's party. Was took the guest like my laid back approach. They were happy I gave them space and didn't make them do anything goofy.

Hi, Ruth...Congratulations on your successful parties.

For years now I've turned down any invitation to a home party I got because I hated all those GOOFY GAMES we always had to play!

I didn't think I'd ever do a candle party because of that, but I like
the way you've done yours, so maybe it wouldn't be bad at all. (And
making a nice bit of cash like that in one night would be nice, lol.)

I like the idea of getting in, smelling, eating, talking, buying,
getting right back out. I might have to consider that technique myself!

Hope you have lots more great parties!
