You may have heard this before but it's worth repeating.
Here's an inspiring article for your success in team building in our business:
Bill Britt is one of the most successful network marketers around. Some years ago, 20/20 did a feature story on his company. They spent 19 minutes interviewing whiners and complainers -- several distributors who had failed and showed the garages full of products they couldn't sell.
During the last minute of the show, Mr. Britt was interviewed in front of his palatial home. He was asked, "Mr. Britt, this business has obviously worked for you. What's your secret?"
He replied, "There is no secret. I simply showed the plan to 1200 people. 900 said, 'No.' and only 300 signed up. Out of those 300, only 85 did anything at all. Out of those 85 only 35 were serious, and out of those 35, 11 made me a millionaire."
Like we always say - ANY business is a numbers game, plain and simple. Remember that, be persistent and you WILL succeed.
Stack the odds in your favor, play the numbers and keep a steady flow of NEW business to YOUR website and keep booking your parties. It's all about reaching as many people as you can.
And remember, as you approach new people about your products and your business, "some will, some wont , so what." Move on. Just say "NEXT"
Some example's I am reading about in "The Success Principles" By Jack Canfield ( awesome book btw)
Colonel Sanders was rejected 300 times before he found someone who believed in his dream, There are now 11,000 KFC"S in 80 countries around the world.
Imagine he gave up at 250 times!
Jack Canfield and Mark Victor Hanson were rejected over 130 times but their first "Chicken soup for the soul" book was eventually accepted and went on to sell 8 million copies and spawn a series of 80 best sellers.
Dr. Ignatious Piazza knocked on 12,500 doors in a town the "didn't need another chiropractor".
He got a lot of no's and "nobody- homes". But in his first month of practice, her had over 233 new patients and earned $72,000 all because he kept on chugging through the no's .
Steven King threw out the script to "Carrie" because he was tired of rejections. Luckily, his wife fished it out of the garbage and eventually it was printed and sold over 4 millions copies plus was made into a movie as we all know so well ;-)
and so so many more stories like this, we could fill a book in itself.
The key to success is to overcome rejection, don't take it personally and keep moving toward your goals. Don't ever give up on your dreams.
Create Success!
