Just sharing! The owner of Handmade Natural Beauty (http://www.naturalbeautysoaps.net/gina) posted in a group I belong to. She's accepting 50 Founding Consultants (I was #9 as of last evening). Worth checking out if you're looking for something "new" or "additional". Here's the particulars re: FC's:

This is a ground floor opportunity! Be one of the first to grow this company and be rewarded for your efforts!

Currently we are accepting applications for Founding Consultants! If you are one of the first 50 Consultants to be accepted into the program, you will be considered a Founding Consultant.

As a Founding Consultant, you will receive the following benefits:

Discounted Registration/Join Fee: $20 rather than $25.

FREE Renewal: $10 renewal fee after first year is waived for Founding Consultants.

Possibility of Free Recruits: Once the Founding Consultant Spots are filled, anyone requesting to join through the website without a sponsor will be placed by rotation under the Founding Consultants. They will be added to your team and you will get commission on their sales/purchases.
[/list]

I'll be trying some of the pet care products from you in the near future! :)

I didn't see any on the site, but is there any baby shampoo/wash? Just in case I missed it.

Jennifer,

Nothing "specifically" noted for babies, but our organic, non-scented shampoo should be fine:

Organic Non-Scented Shampoo
This ORGANIC Non-Scented Shampoo is all natural and mild. SLS, DEA and Cocobetaine free!
8 oz.

I would think the shampoo could be used as body wash too, right?

I would agree! smileys/smiley1.gifI love that it is unscented. We sell aromatherapy products, so you could also add fragrance oils to them (not for baby-use though).

Just talked with Angie. She's planning on recruiting her first 50 Founding Consultants, then holding back till she opens up more slots. Which I think is smart business.

Love it when someone not only has a great business plan, and great products, but understands how NOT to over promise & under deliver. Makes for disappointed reps and customers.

She truly loves her business and I'm so excited to be a part of it (and at the launch of it)!smileys/smiley17.gif

Thanks Gina,

I am now a founding consultant also!!!! I have place my first order, and can't wait to try out the products.

Angie really seems to have a great plan along with great products. I think we are going to see great things coming from this venture.

Company looks great.

The only thing that bothers me is the sign up fee. For $20-25 I would want some business tools (samples, order forms etc..) I could see charging $5-$10 to get signed up but $25 for nothing seems a bit much IMO.

You're getting a free website (and it's awesome - pages load quickly, and it's wonderfully done - complete with a working shopping cart and back office), a25% discount (commission)and the ability to download tools at our Yahoo Group. I don't know; I think it's reasonable, but that's my opinion.smileys/smiley1.gif

That just changed as of today. She prefers to use PayPal. If it's a problem, you can call Angie & make other arrangements. She's great to work with!

Thanks for posting that, Gina. I was just wondering about it today when I visited the site. Okay, tough question here...what's your favorite product and why? Did you get any of the soaps? That's my favorite type of product and I'd love to find a company that sells really good soap, not just melt and pour glycerin.

Missy,

I have the Lavender & Rose soap. It smells heavenly and is so creamy.

MY favorite is the lotion bars. You pop them out of their plastic case, rub them on your hands, your body, andyou're so smooth and not messy. You don't have to wait till it absorbs into your skin; makes even the dryest hands feel soft.

I cleaned the bathrooms yesterday and put on some of the lotion bar before starting (I was out of rubber gloves - eek). My hands felt pretty good afterwards, with the extra barrier of the lotion bar. And the smaller size is great to carry in your purse!
