Hi, ladies, I thought I would ask this again in the broader forum.

I am not sure which other companies allow you to sell in service salons and spas, but if yours does, and you currently do this, I would love to get some tips from you (if you don't mind sharing).

I would like to pursue this aspect of retailing, but I just wanted to hear from some already doing this as to what worked and what didn't for you.

Also, I think I may have asked this before as well...but am trying again...any here do fundraisers? How did you get that started? Whom did you approach? Did you call, mail information, or send an email at first?

Finally, wow didn't realize I had so many questions this morning. For those of you who blog about your business, does that bring you more customers or recruits or is that more for your current customers and downlines?

I keep my dentist and hair salon stocked with linen scent and scent pods, having sold them a pod warmer. I also keep them stocked with samples and make sure they know that I pay for referrals and that any order they accumulate over $150 earns hostess credit!!

Although Gold Canyon does not allow displaying in a retail location, as its a direct sales party plan business, no one can stop the smelling!!!

I have one demonstrator who has had several parties over $1000 just from displaying her product in a salon and taking orders from employees and customers. Especially NAIL salons where the smell is so strong and...not good.

Mia Bella doesn't allow our products displayed in stores, but you can place candles for them to use and take orders, like a catalog party.

I am about to start Fundraising efforts soon.

My understanding is that we can place our candles in places of service (nail salons, hair salons and such), but we cannot have our candles in retail stores.

If I am wrong about this, someone please correct me.
