I guess I am going a little stir crazy--snowed in or rather iced in all weekend. So, I have been having fun seeing what fun scent combinations I could come up with.
Today I am burning an Acai Berry candle and a Chocolate Kiss candle, and I rather like it. It kind of smells like Valentine's Day with this chocolate-covered berry scent going through the house. The chocolate is very subtle, but when I am in the right spot and smell both together---very. very nice.
Anybody else do this? What have you burned or melted to combine two fragrances into something a little different?

Good topic....I love to put a Hot Apple Pie and French Vanillla Mia Melts together. Smells like pie with ice cream....Or Bluberry Muffin with the French Vanilla.

That's interesting...I still have a bunch of MB melts...I'm going to have to try something like that! ;)

The Hot Apple Pie and French Vanilla one sounds amazing! I love both of those scents separately, and now I will have to try them together.
DFWcandlemom, let us know what you try and what you think!
I used to do this all the time with fragrances back when I was in retail in the cosmetic/fragrance area, and I always thought it was fun. Sometimes combinations work and sometimes, well...they just don't. But I thought I would try with some of the candles and melts I had on hand just to see what happens.

Oh I love the idea of the chocolate/fruit combo scents. I just got my Strawberry Pomegranate tarts on Friday and already have Double Dutch Chocolate melts, so I may have to try mixing them in the warmer. I also like to combine Vanilla Extract & Cafe Latte along with Creamy Caramel & Double Dutch Choc. I need to stop now before I make myself hungry! :D
