Could someone please tell me a little about working with your company? Specifically selling to the school and library market.

Thanks!

Hope that helps Suzee

It is a lot of fun you do need to beocme an Educational Consultant which when you purchase a kit you can add that for only $20 and then send back a signed paper or fax after reading the manual

Also your sponsor or supervisor will help you with training it is definetly worth going for your Educational Consultant .

Hi! You've gotten some great info so far.

The school and library market can be a great one!

As mentioned, we do Bookfairs, where schools can get 25-50% back in FREE books! Woohoo. And they are COMMERCIAL FREE bookfairs! We have great chapter and non-fiction books.

Literacy for Lifetime is a 50% matching grant. Let's say a PTO gives each classroom $100 for books. 10 teachers can go together ($1000) and get $1500 in books! You can also use this with corporate money, and non-profits, churches, or anyone who needs books and has "grant" money.

Reach for the Stars is a Reading Incentive program where the school gets 100% back! Kids go out and get sponsored to read. Many consultants experience $10,000 Reach for the STars.

With Kane Miller now being exclusive to Usborne Books reps, we have a wonderful "in" to the middle and high schools now too! We get to sell books to schools that only we can offer them! It's amazing!

As mentioned you to need to be an Educational Consultant. This provides extra training. We are required to list the schools we work with to keep a professional level. Can you imagine if 3 Usborne reps all chased the same school? Not good. :-)

Good luck!
