I started a thread in the general discussion, but looking through these different companies, they all look so exciting! I don't know who looks in the general folder, So I'm going to paste my message into each company that I'm interested in so hopefully I can get some information on each.
I have experience in WAH businesses, I've worked for LiveOps, West, Working Solutions and others.
I'm in college so I need something with LOW (or no) start-up costs, that I can do mostly from home. I don't mind going out to spa's or salons or whatever though, and I don't mind lunch meetings or parties, that sort of thing. I live in Las Vegas so there's a good market. My mom wants something on the side too so she'd be interested as well. I'd be happy with $500 - $1,000 profit per month, thrilled with anything more than that.
The cosmetics market interests me, but I would consider others, like candles or whatever. I'm in an upper/middle class area with LOTS of houses, so catalogues or business cards can be easily left on doors, I'm also in college so good market there, I go to lots of the clubs and restaurants so I could network some, I'm a member of 24 hr fitness, so there's a good market there, there's tons of spa's in the area I could market to as well.
So is this company an option for me? Tell me all about it! =)

Hello, there! To start BeautiControl has 2 cases. There is the BeautiCase which is $125 and the Business Case which is $385. If you want to see pictures of them, you can check out my site (in my signature). This month, BC is offering deferred payment on both cases. That means you pay half of the case price + tax + shipping up front and then the rest in 30 days ($125: 1st pay is around $95 and 2nd is $67.50. $385: 1st pay is around $205 and 2nd is $260) The deferred will go on to Feb for the bigger case, but not the smaller one.
You can run the business with catalogs if you like, but you make more money by doing the in home spas. $500 to $1000 per month is easy as long as you are working. Once you build a client base, it is easy to build a lucrative reorder business as long as you really service your clients. Making your phone calls to follow up, things like that.
You make 25% to 50% profit based on the size of your order and your level in the company. You also make commission on your team if you build one. The products are amazing. Day spa quality, but much less expensive than the day spa. We offer a free training day (4 hours) and you even get a gift package ($208 retail value) just for attending. At the training, they show you how to do a spa and it is really an awesome day.
Hope that helps. Let us know if there is anything else we can share. I know we are all pretty passionate about BC so the ladies here can offer lots of help. :)

Hi Lubijana (?)
BeautiControl is what you are looking for! You can easily make $1000 a month. I can tell you how your start-up costs could be $0. They are normally $125 to $385. I have a few college students on my team. This is also a perfect business for your mom! (I am the "mom"). We have the best compensation plan on the market. You get 100% support from the company + fantastic clinical strength products that are 100% guaranteed. Who else can say "Whenever I go to work I end up at a spa!" If you are interested in more details on the $0 start-up contact me at spasbysusan@verizon.net. I will get your phone number and talk to you personally!

Wow, thanx guys! So do you have to buy inventory and sell it or yourself or can customers order direct from the company? I'm nervous at sinking too much into a company before I know what's what, so I like to start out with direct-orders and then try the spa thing - that sounds like so much fun! I'll be emailing both of you tomorrow for info!
Oh by the way... i'ts Ljublijana, pronounced Loo-blee-YAWN-ahh, after the city in Slovenia =) Just in case your curious, LOL

You can do either. I choose to have inventory personally, but you can just have your clients order from your website or they can pay you and you can order it from BeautiControl for them. I think it is smart to start out with little to no inventory because in the beginning you won't know for sure what your best sellers are. I mean, obviously the things you show at a spa are what will sell, but for other orders it is a little harder to tell until you know your clients. And of course, no one wants their team to go into debt to be with BeautiControl. We want you to get out of debt with BeautiControl! Let us know how we can help!

Also, just to clarify: Even if your clients order from you instead of through your website, you still don't have to order a bunch of inventory. You can just order what your clients need on an order by order basis. I just recommend getting a few orders together instead of ordering for one client at a time. So for example, call your clients and say "Hey, Susie! I am placing an order this Wednesday, so I wanted to check in and see what you needed!" That would save you on shipping and help you make more profit. :)

I agree with Susan and Bethany. BC is an amazing company that takes great care of it's consultants. There is no ceiling and have no where to go but up if you put in a little work!
It is VERY easy to profit $1000 a month with BC.
Good luck in what ever you chose. I hope you chose BC.
