Hi,
I wanted to ask if anyone knew if you would need a license to have an online business/website? The only product of the business or site would be ad space. I heard something about a DBA but don't no to much about it. TIA

I don't think so, I never never heard of anything like that before, and I've been doing web sites for a long time. DBA usually stands for database administrator, not sure what else it would mean in regards to a site.

DBA means "Doing Business As". Doing Business As - DBA - Registration | Business.gov (http://www.business.gov/register/business-name/dba.html)

I don't think you would need this, but it might depend upon your state laws regarding the products you sell.

Licensing regulations can vary a lot, from country to country, state to state and even sometimes city to city, so this is really something you need to check out locally, I think?
