Anyone have any idea about the price point for these? I know it's still early, but I was hoping someone may have heard.

I have quite a few teacher friends who just can't afford to purchase candles from me very often, and they are already so excited about the smaller candles---I just wanted to have some idea of cost.

Thank you for the response. I guess I sort-of knew that already. I was just hoping.

Now to go and get in on the signature candle special...can't wait to smell Twilight!

Greetings Melissa,

I just wanted to share that sometimes people think they can't afford a product, but once I show them the value of the candles, they realize their dollar goes much farther... (often someone who says "I can't afford" will go an spend the same amount on 'cheap' product in the same genre not realizing that even though it 'appears' to be less, its cost is 3x more!)

For instance someone may say that $20 is too much for a candle because they get big jars at WalMart for $10. Once I educate them that a huge Walmart Jar will burn 1/3 the time and not have as powerful as a scent, they realize that one $20 is actually less expensive than 3, $7 candles...

Just sharing some tips that work for me :)

I sell a ton of 26 oz jars because my current customers say they are getting more for thier money. You just never know!

Don't misundestand me, they get the value, and they are not buying candles at Walmart or really even elsewhere at the time. That is something that for them right now is just not in the budget. They have tried my candles and are loyal to me, but a smaller version would allow them to buy more. I am just so excited that we will have another option so that everyone can buy and enjoy and can do so more often.

Have you thought about offering some of the teachers "free" and reduced priced product by hosting a party? Either a home party or a bag party?

Julie thanks for the idea. Actually I am doing something similar right now. They really do like the candles, and I know they will continue to be customers. I am just so happy to be able to offer new things to our customers and I think a smaller candle will be great to bring in more business.

Great idea on the party idea Julie!

Melissa, what about the votives? They come in all the scents that our amazing jars do!

A couple votives grouped will pack quite an aromatic punch, or even a Scent Simmer and then just the repurchase of melts...

My 'guesstimate' would be if an 16 oz jar is $18.95 and a 26 oz jar is $5 more at $24.95, perhaps in the $15 range for the 10 oz since it is only 6 oz smaller. Maybe less, maybe more!

Since we don't know if it will be an apothecary style, or something totally new, we really have no way of knowing ~ I do know I'm pretty excited!

OH, oh! I think the best bang for the buck is the new simmer pots and plug ins.

Tell the teachers that they can get the new simmer pots and a bag of melts for very little. And the simmer pot is just the one time investment. After that, it's a great savings. :0)

I'm bouncing up and down with excitement for these 10oz candles!!
