Hi Ladies,
My NVP, Katie O'Neil, took off with an idea from RVP Robin Kerr and is working to send meals to Haiti. Wonderfuly our new ready-made protein shakes in the US are perfect to send as they are nutricious, need no water or refigeration and the packaging can be burned (the way they need to dispose of their garbage).
She is doing this without any profit to us and if we send 46 cases it covers our shipping costs (from @ to her house in Ohio). She is then transporting it to a place for them to be shipped out by another charity ISOH/IMPACT in Waterville.
If you are interested in participating please get my email from my profile and I will forward you the information. Her deadline is today, but Katie said to go ahead and keep doing it - I think I'm aiming for the 25th to have time to contact and follow up with my people here in Canada and the US.
Let's continue to pray for the people of Haiti and all those who are there. It's going to be a long road back for them.
