You may also want to explore things like Google Adsense, Bidvertiser, etc. You place google ads, ect. on your blogs and personal websites, and when someone clicks one of those ads, you earn a small amount.
If you can get traffic, it's a nice passive way to monetize your blogs and personal sites.
