I am in need of some creative sales ideas. I have a HUGE goal this month and had to fly out of town unexpectedly to be with my dad who is battling Lung Cancer. It is so hard to set aside time for my business but at the same time, I need the distraction and the income. Does anyone have any good ideas of how to pull in sales when I can't go out and do the in home party. I was able to squeeze in 1 party when I arrived but I just had to extend my stay. I have worked numbers and know how much of certain things I need to sell but I'm just not sure how to make it happen. Any help you can offer would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks so much,

Do you have a few past hostesses that would allow you to come set up some stuff at their house and they could hold a stop-n-shop for you - they just invite some friends over - she takes orders for you. Maybe you could make up some show-on-the-go baskets to send to work with some past hostesses so they could take orders - these tend to turn out better than just catalog parties, because people can actually see, feel, touch the products. Doa mystery hostess party - you can give tickets for a drawing to determine the hostess based on the size of order, if they call/email by a certain date/time, come pick up the order, pay by DB/CR card, etc. Just a few suggestions.

Good luck.

How about send balloon with a discount of some sort or free gift offer inside to everyone on your customers list and a new catalog asking them to celebrate with you for the new sale.

Those are great ideas. smileys/smiley32.gif The problem I am having is that I am out of town and all my customers are not here. I have no way to get products to them to have them do a stop and show. I could do a call-a-thon party. That's a greatidea. I forgot about that. I could mail stuff out from here and then use my cell #. Thanks.

Any other ideas would be greatly appreciated!

Customer specials are a great incentive. Call all of your best customers and hostesses, let them know that they can receive the special free if they purchase $50 or more. Another idea is to offer catalog parties with the customer/hostess special free as incentive if they reach a certail dollar amount...another idea is to have your own open house, offer cash & carry, raffle items, and mystery hostess. Also offer incentives for booking parties close in and a special drawing for those that ordered customer specials, I like to wrap a gift really pretty and call it the "pretty box" and offer in the special drawing only for those that order the monthly special. It's really boosted my average, women love winning stuff, they're intriqued that they don't know what it is, they just have to have it and are willing to spend more to win it...it'z an amazing philosophy shared with me from Pam Anders.

With your large goal you really need some serious bulk orders! How
about trying daycare centers around where you are now. Its a whole
bunch of pple who you have never asked before and they ALWAYS
need food storage/cups/koolaid pitchers/etc.
Depending on what your companyallows you to do, you could offer
to cut the daycares a discount....free shipping, 10% off everything,
whatever. I think if they feel like the are getting a deal they may be
more apt to buy a BUNCH from ya.
Seek out in-home daycares too! smileys/smiley32.gif

Contact 20 businesses in town. Tell them your working to meet a goal. Give them thecatalog and order forms. The business who gets the most orders in (24-48 hours) will receive a free pizza for lunch.

Just a thought...

GOOD LUCK KATRINA!!!!!

If they can see products online offer a open catalog show. You will raffle off the FREE items to someone that places an order. smileys/smiley2.gif
