jmkosmo...maybe wait a bit and retry...Apply with new email address...I haven't been hired...but wasn't even getting an invite before...I reapplied with different email and redid my resume to highlight college and got an invite with a week or so...Unfortunately my computer died and I flew through the second test :( I onlly had access to other's computers...Don't give up...I think I may try again....

I've actually been wondering the same thing, jmkosmo. I applied to all three (LF and WFL over a month ago), and am still waiting to hear anything. I've read in other threads that some people have been waiting months; I know the wait time varies a whole lot, but I was also curious whether or not anyone had gotten accepted in 2010. Good luck!

For those wondering, I was. I'm a former WFL'er whose 1 year assignment ended mid November. I waited until after the holidays, applied on Jan. 4 to LF, heard back on the 5th and after all the testing, started Monday (18th). It seems I am one of the few though?? Someone mentioned before that maybe they have restrictions on how many they can hire in certain states/time zones? I am eastern, so maybe that made a difference? I don't know, hang in there though.

Dinomom- is there a reason you're not waiting the time period out? I ask because I'm about hit my year and I'm trying to figure out if I should wait it out or try my luck at LB/LF..

I did it for a variety of reasons. First, I wanted to start earning money again sooner than February (the earliest I could re-apply). Second, the job I had with WFL was QR and that position is no longer available (just Ad Rater) so other than the fact that I worked for them before, there is no reason for them to choose me over someone else when neither of us has experience in the Ad Rater position. In other words, no guarantee of employment and then all that time I waited and could have been earning money would be lost. Third, you can only work for WFL (Google) for a max of 2-one year terms and then you're done. I know these companies are hiring now and don't want to risk them not hiring in another year (this position could be permanent, so them not hiring in the future is a possibility, I think). This brings me to my fourth point, which is that this position can be somewhat permanent (LF constantly renewing your contract). I know there have been horror stories of people being let go from LF without explanation, but that was also true of WFL, so it's a risk either way (believe me though, if LF decides to terminate me at some point I will definitely be applying at WFL again). Overall, one of my big issues was the limit of 12 months with WFL. I need a job for a minimum of 18 months while my husband completes his residency and then, hopefully, employment will be more of an option than a necessity. It just didn't make sense for me to work for WFL for a year and then a few months with LF when I could just stay with one company (hopefully) the whole time.
I know this is long, but I hope it was helpful and answered your question. :D

What do I need to apply for LF? I just reapplied for LB and WFL. I might as well apply for LF too. It would be nice to get something from March to March until my car payment is finished.

I worked for WFL for a year until my assignment ended mid-November. About a week ago I reapplied to WFL for Ads Rater (was Search Engine Rater before), and also applied for internet assessor with Lionbridge. Got my unsuccessful app from Lionbridge today (they're not hiring in Louisiana) and still haven't heard back from WFL. Thinking about trying LeapForce but I heard a few unhappy employees so I'm a little hesitant.

I applied to LB and LF at the end of December. I was hired by LF 3 weeks ago and asked to test for LB today. Hopefully I can re-apply and test for them after my LF contract ends.
I'm in Ohio.

I just saw an ad for Leapforce on my local Craigslist job postings. Guess that means they're hiring. Probably need to fill all those holes left by the recent terminations.

I applied to LB sometime near the end of the year and was recently hired around Jan. 18th as well. I know quite a few people have been hired recently. Possible there was a lot of people trying to apply during the holidays, and they just have a lot of applicants to sift through. I highlighted my internet usage.

i'm taking part 2 of the exam and hoping that i get in. part 1 was definitely pretty difficult but i'm grateful i made it to part 2. for those who are already part of the LB team, are you enjoying it?
how many hours a day do you work? is their scheduling pretty flexible as long as you meet the required 10-20 hours??

My wife just got an email to proceed with the qualifying process for LF. The email said to go to site to sign consent and contract forms. In the steps it show she has to take a test afterward and then start work. My wife is Chinese so she sign up under the Chinese simplified job.
Can anyone elaborate what to expect on the exam? Also what kind of income can she expect?
Thanks for all your help!
P.S. I am also looking to do work part time at home. I work at a TV station in the mornings and get off work at 1pm. I can do graphics and editing. I submitted an article to AC but it returned stating it needed grammatical corrections but I do not know what is wrong with it. They didn't give me any details on what to fix. I would rather produce ads and graphics anyway. Anyone with any info can PM me since this doesn't apply to this thread.
Thanks everyone!

i start testing for LF next week. I had also applied with WFL (AQR) and LB. I am wondering what the differences in pay and hours are. Can anyone clarify? I was a QR for WFL previously, and was curious of the AQR position paid the same. Also, what is the pay rate and hour requirements for LB. Thanks in advance everyone!

Hi.
I applied 3 weeks ago with LB and haven't heard anything. Is it a good idea to keep applying? What do you guys think? Thanks.

I passed the first exam with LB but not the second exam so I didn't get hired unfortunately. :( I'm afraid to apply to any other rater companies for fear that I won't pass their exams now.

I passed the two tests and now work for LF. I haven't actually done any work yet though. Seems quite a bit different than WFL was.
