Hi I am brand new to this and desperately seeking work from home to stay home with my son and I am on a very tight timeline now.

I am in Canada, specifically Toronto, Ontario and am wondering if this site has anything for Canadians or am I in the wrong spot.

If someone could offer me some quick and good advice I would appreciate it.

Cheers and thanks and glad to have found this.
:)

Hello, my name is Deidra. I noticed your post and figured I'd give a little tip. If you're looking to work from home 90% of the opportunities out there require some sort of huge start up fee and most of which are just a scam to make money off you. I learned that the hard way lol. The company I work for is looking for representatives in Canada, if you're interested. If you want to send me an e-mail or give me yours I'd be glad to give you some information pertaining to the job. Also, the site below has all of my information as well. Take care!

Hi Nadinesky,

Welcome to WAHM. I'm new to the forum myself and I reside in Canada. I can tell you that you are in the right place. There is something for everyone on WAHM. It depends on what you are searching for. The members are also very helpful.

What do you have in mind? Work at home jobs or Home- based business? I recently started a home-based business with Scentsy and I found my sponsor here. So, ask questions, also remember to carry out your due diligence.

Best wishes. I hope you find something that is right for you.

I am looking for work from home, whether it be call center or data entry etc., I have two online business's that are in the build up stage, so this would tie me over until they start to turn a profit, so def. work.
If you can point me in the right direction here I would certainly appreciate it, I only see listings for call centers etc. for the USA...and I would really like to do that or preferably data entry, as I have great typing and computer skills.
Thanks again

You should also ask anytime there is a fee...ACD Direct $45 background check fee, Liveops $50 (i have heard), Arise ($99 for the intro course and then additional fees per client for training) charge fees as well but are completely legitimate.

There is a lot of information in this folder. You may want to read through some of the posts.

I know that before I joined the forum, I always got great job leads from here and I still do( though not in data entry or call centers).

Well said.

If an opportunity/job is legitimate and there is a true need to fill that position, the company would never need to charge you.
