I just got home from my first party. It went so well. I'm so excited. I sold 11 jars 9 votives and one air freshener. There were only 8 guests with a total in gross sales of $233.00. Many people bought 2 jars. Everyone seemed really impressed with the quality of the candles. When I gave my hostess a jar of Sweet Orange & Chili Pepper, she got so excited she starting jumping up & down. Half of the guests did not speak English but my hostess and the others translated into Spanish so it all worked out. Plus you can smell the candles in any language. One of the guests is going to have her own party. She said she really wants to have one and will give me the date when I deliver her candles. I can't wait til my next party Wednesday.

Wow Rudie that is awesome!!! I haven't done a party yet BUT i do know a lady who wants to sign up but she only speaks spanish also, so I'm going to have to translate everything to her.
Its nice that we can sell these wonderful candles to people who speak a different language. I thank my parents for teaching me Spanish. Me and DH are also going to teach our son Spanish.
So glad it went great for you!!!!

Yes, congrats!!!
I have found that home parties are the way to go when first starting out, even if you dont want to do them continuously!! They really get you some good sales and a great customer base.
Start by asking near by relatives or friends to host for you. I am sure they would love to help you grow your business!!
ANd doing home parties with MB is so simple and easy. I dont mind at all!!
I am so glad yours went well!! Good luck in the future!!
