I am hoping I can word this right and have it make sense. I know that a lot of companies have certain days of the months where vendors can set up a booth and sell in the lobby or cafeteria. Have any of you done this before and if so, how do you get the contact info for the companies who do this to set it up? Any tips or suggestions would be so greatly appreciated.

You could call local hospitals, they usually have vendors come in once a month to set up around cafeteria for all day, you need to call and ask volunteer services dept. or their charitable dept. Maybe call Human Resources.
Some real estate offices do vendor events once a month at their office, call and ask to speak with office manager/owner of office.
Some salons have jewelry or purse reps come in and set up for one day only if they are having any special event or sale.
Good luck!

Do the offices most often at Christmas time but I have done "tasting baskets" I call "Gourmet to Go's" and left them at offices where I have at least one employee as a client. It's like a glorified catalogue party and I've done very well with them.
I really enjoy doing the office "gigs" since they're during the day and I can work while my kids are in school and I completely agree with the hospital idea. I saw it when my dad had surgery in 2008. There were vendors all over the cafe' area of the hospital and the staff as well as the visitors were shopping that day.
