Hi Fellow Moms!

Has anyone heard of Heritage Makers? I'm a HUGE scrapbooking fan and I just became aconsultant for this company, that does digital scrapbooking. (you go onto their on-line publishing system and you can make an actual hardcovered, professionally printed book - it's simple and fun...addicting, actually)smileys/smiley1.gif

I know it'll be huge but I wonder how long it'll take for the public to discover digital scrapbooking. Has anyone tried it and do they have any comments?

p.s. They need a thousands of consultants, as they're about to have their official company launch in two weeks. Family.com bought them and they're getting their subscriber base, which are millions of people. Isn't family what it's all about?

I have been a digital scrapbooker for over 2 years, designing layouts and kits.

Digital Scrapbooking is HUGE, they even have features and digital layouts in traditional scrapbooking magazines now. If you do a google search for Digital Scrapbooking you will see just howpopular it is.

I am a consultant for Heritage Makers also, and know MANY digital scrapbookers who are also consultants.

Are either of you two Heritage consultants going to the Company Launch coming up?

Also - Do any of you use Photoshop (Adobe) as your main software for digital scrapbooking?

I'm still learning digi scrap. I'm waiting to purchase PSE4 until after the launch and the announcements of the new digi program. I can't wait!!! And yes I'm going to launch.

I use PhotoShop CS2 for all of my digital scrapbooking.

I want to get into digital scrapbooking...Im wondering though, how do you digi scrappers print out your pages to add to your albums? I still want to do regular scrapping too so I want to be able to print them and add them to my albums. Is there any other way besides buying a printer that prints 12x12?

Im going to have to check out this HM thing....sounds very cool.

I do my scrapping at 12x12 (because most kits, etc. come in that size) But when I go to print, I actually print them 8x8 that way I can use my regular printer and didn't have to spend a fortune on a printer that would do 12x12.

also, there are places that will print 12x12 for you, I think Costco is one of the cheapest places.

I have priced out what it costs to "print" one page in our system if you could do them individually....and it wouldn't suprise me at all if soon you can...and it's about $2.00 per side. Which is often cheaper than getting a full color copy made at kinko's etc...and on full gloss, heavy weight, commercial grade, acid free paper etc. No binder or sheet protectors required...and if you count in the cost of the double binding, the designable covers, the archiving, and the saturation of colors per page...it's less than $1.50 per page....cheaper for better quality!
