Hi all,
I have not been active lately. I used to be very active and full of great ideas and my business was just rolling. Well I'm not sure how it happened but it's come to a screaming hault. I have not had a spa since the end of October and only one booked for January.
How do I get this back up and running? Everyone I ask doesn't want to and I'm running AMAZING deals.
Any help you can give is much appriciated.

Hi Tiffany ~ First, realize that this is just a normal stage in this business. Everyone at some point looks at their calendar and goes , Oh my gosh, I have no spas booked. It gives you great strength of experience to relate to the brand new consultant just stating her business.
Start with you goal ~ say book 4 spas for January & 4 for Feb.
Book a time to make your calls ~ Thursday evening, Iam going to call from 7-9pm. I'm going to have a great time connecting with people that I will enjoy speaking with, and I will ask each of them to book a spa with me.
Some of my verbiage for booking this time of year is " Hi _________ I wanted to chat with you because before Christmas we had chatted about booking a spa and I'm booking my Jan & feb calendars now, and I wanted you to get a date. I find that this is the best time of the year to spa b/c it's cold & dark & everyone is looking for a good excuse to get together & be pampered too." I actually just heard on the John Tesh radio show last night that statistically, Jan 22 is the most depressing day of the year. Le't combat the January blues by holding a party.
I hear you with "everyone saying no" Typically this means you need to find some new people to ask. Most consultants start withtheir FRANK list and over time have asked the most keen & helpful people on their list to spa before, and their list gets weeded out to "Debbie Downers" Start with a brand new list of people that you have never asked before and your experience will be a lot more pleasant.
Keep offering, have fun with it, and find some new people. :)

Tiffany, Two words: Vendor Events! Now is great time of year to find Bridal Shows and other events to host a booth at. My calendar dried up in June after my car was totaled (in my driveway while I was asleep) and I had no way to leave my house. It was 2 vendor events in October that got me going again and I have had 7 to 8 spas every month since and already have people wanting to schedule me for February! Start looking at what events are coming up TODAY so you don't miss any. And be sure to check out BeautiNet under Spa Your Community for info too. A girl in our area used the info there for an event she did and their booth added 55 spas to their calendars! You can do this girl! We have faith in you!

Tiffany, try Art and Craft Shows, Festivals, Fairs, Expos, Concerts - Event Directory of 50,000 FREE Online Listings! (http://www.eventlister.com) I don't know where you live, but I think this is a nationwide service. Put in your zip code and get events for your area.

Offer a fun spa at your house or at a local tea room. Lots of people don't want to clean the house or mess with all that getting the house ready for company. You could offer a "Coffee, Tea & a New "me" Spa at a your house and serve coffee & tea and spa "treat"-ments. Or if you know a Tea Room owner have one there. Tell the owner that this will bring business to them with more visibility. You'd be surprised how many business owners are up for free advertising/publicity.
