Hi! I saw that a lot of agents use VOIP services (even though it isn't exactly smiled upon), but I had a quick question. My land line provider is giving me a hard time, so I decided to try out Skype since I already have a number with them and haven't had any problems thus far. But! I know that you aren't allowed to have features like call waiting/voicemail/forwarding, so I was curious how you can turn these off with Skype? I know this has come up before, but I noticed that there has not been an answer to it -- I figured it's probably because it's kind of buried within an unrelated post, so I hope you guys don't mind me asking. Thanks so much!

FYI: Skype is NOT allowed by W and if caught using it you WILL be terminated as you did sign a contract understanding the REQUIRED equipment. Trust me when I say, they DO know an WILL check for features on your phone.

How is it possible for a them to get remote access to your phoneline and check?
