I'm just wondering ballpark figures here... How much do you make per hour and how many hours and you get? Thanks!

You always make at least. your state's min. wage per hour.

Not a lot. Most of the shifts are only .15 per talk minute. That equates to $9/hour. I was waking up every morning at 4am to work before my kids woke up for the day. On Saturday morning, I had 1 phone call. ONE!! And it was for 3 minutes. Anyway, my last paycheck was for 35 dollars. Hardly worth waking up for.

i work Dr. and make min wage bc the wage adjustments are at the end of the week. i work 30 hrs a week and about half of those i should be making 9$/hr, but the other half i am only on the phone maybe 15-30 mins an hr. So when they calculate my min wage adjustments they take my hours of 9$/hr and my $2/hr add them together to get total talk time in mins, and then divid that by total hours logged in to get some number below min wage..... then they adjust it back up to min wage for all 30 hours. its a scam. they dont do it every shift as i was lead to think when i started. To make 9$/hr you must be on the phone 60min/hr for every hour that u have logged in that week. ONE slow hour will drop you wages..... and that is kinda scammish.... no wonder people dont care if the are a ranking 3 bc they make the same as a ranking 1 agnet... lesson learned. Dr. pays your state min wage, good luck.

I don't know about you guys, but I got my first check this past Saturday, and it was more than I expected! Granted, it was for training, but I was paid my state's minimum wage (7.25), plus some other stuff. Then, after training, the pay is guaranteed at $8 per hour. No per call stuff....But I'm on the "World of More" skillset, not DR like the majority of you guys are.

I wouldn't say it like that. West is a legitimate VERY FLEXIBLE WAH job. There are many WAH jobs that you can do but wouldn't even make that much money. You are also an employee so don't have to worry about paying taxes to your state.

My first paycheck with west was pretty big as well. At least big considering I haven't worked a paying job for almost 3 years. But my next check....as I said, hardly worth waking up for.
I got onto a job site called Liveops.com. You only have to work every 42 days there. AND the average pay is .25/min.
My friend in TN is working at West in something called Halo. I was DR. Halo is taking calls and routing them to conference calls. She is making $8/hr. More than TN minimum wage, more than she is making not working.
I was a bartender for 11 years, so I am used to making a lot of money. Those days are gone, but at least I have my baby boys to keep me occupied!!! Give West a try, maybe you will make more than I made.

My last shift there I swear to God I had like 9 calls in 15 minutes, and the day before that I had 1 freakin call in 2 hours!! I thought I was going to lose my mind!! Got confusing after call 5. I wish they would stick you with just one business, like Time Life. I got Time Life, Colonial Penn, Shark, a different Time Life, etc., and it was just confusing.

See I like the mix up of different companies. I think I would get bored with just one.

Please tell me you aren't complaining about the lack of phone calls? Don't you realize you get paid even if you don't take ONE phone call? I'd kill to have your 'problem.'

I have been trying to get on with west for almost a year. I don't know if it is the state I live in or what... they always tell me they aren't hiring, but I see on here all the time where people have gotten hired. So anybody who don't want their job at west... I will gladly take it off your hands!!!

I like working for WEST...you can work as much or as little as you want and make minimum wage for your state no matter how many calls you take. If the calls happen to be B2B you make above minimum. When I worked for WEST before it was IC and you just got paid by the talk minute which sucked but now you make at least minimum wage.
I don't understand why some agents can't get enough hours. I stalk for hours but can pretty much get the 30 or 40 hours a week you are allowed to work if I want to. Most of the time I just schedule a couple of hours in the evening after my regular job. If I want more hours or to work different hours I pick up trades. Plus they pay every two weeks like clockwork which is a big plus compared to some jobs that are scams.

I currently work for West on a project called H@LO. I make about 8 bucks an hour. I average about 12-15 hours a week and I bring home about 200-250 buck every 2 weeks. In all honesty if your're looking to support your family with this line of work (this particular project may not be for you) because the number of hours are very limited, You can check spectrum every 8 mins ALL DAY LONG and still get very minimal hours:(. I can not speak for other people and other projects and/or lines of work. But, I love the current position I have with West I couldn't of ask for a better work from home job. The only problem I've had so far was the hiring process (took 8 months) and Not enough hours !!! Luckily I have a hubby with a much better income....lol
