I have recieved an email for the past two months, both around the same dates, Nov.4 and Dec 4 (w/in a few days of being one month apart) they say currently we are not hiring, but if you are interested then you dont have to do anything, if you are no longer interested please click on this link and we will remove your name from the data base. I am interested, I have even went as far as to email customer service, and updated my contact information (hoping it would push my name up to someone) Has anyone else gotten this? Does anyone have any suggestions as to what I can do to make sure they know how interested I am (w/out being annoying). Thanks all

I got the same email though, since February and I know of others from Florida that have been hired.

I don't know... I have a different situation in that I keep getting emails from them saying they are currently hiring for the 7 am to 5:30 pm shift and to respond to the email if I'm interested. I went through all the testing and sent in my employment papers, but have NOT received a Welcome email yet or anything else. I'm not interested in that shift (I want evenings and weekends) so not quite sure how to proceed with this either.

Be not discouraged.....I initially applied for employment with West on Sept 29, 2009. Went through all of the interviews, tests, etc....In mid October I received the same email that you did; But 3 weeks later, I got an email saying they had an opportunity, and would I be interested in it...of course, I said yes....to make a long story short, I received my Welcome to West email on November 25th, 2009.....So, as you can see, my entire application process was less than 2 months! The thing I would advise, it to take whatever they throw at you initially, and once you're hired on, you'll have the opportunity to gain more skillsets, and thus make more money.

btw, I too live in Florida....Panama City to be exact.
