I am excited to start 2010 with a thriving Homemade Gourmet business.
Happy to report too that our company made a profit in 2009 - unlike many companies that had to downsize or were in the 'red'. I also did very well and created new avenues of sharing our product. No matter the product, it is always posible to meet new clients. The sky is truly the limit.
I am excited to share that it IS possible to take control of your family and business. "no excuses' has always been my motto - and I realize too that it doesn't mean that work has to be everyday 24/7. Surrounding myself with like-minded consultants and working with those that are self-motivated, like myself, does create an exciting adventure! I work so I can provide opportunities that my family would not have otherwise...and my kids truly do appreciate it!
i certainly worked 'smarter' in 2009 and achieved more then I thought.
i look forward to taking 6 weeks maternity - while still getting a paycheck with HG later in February...
Just by creating a plan and sticking to it! I have even set up my calendar for when I return to work in late March/April and have it booked 70% already!
What is your hope to starting 2010 the right way for your business?
Happy New Year!

I just love reading your posts Rebecca!
It is so true...create a plan and stick to it! And IT IS SOOOO important to surround yourself with like minded people...it is so motivating!
I do a lot of life coaching & mentoring with my friends and family and the #1 thing I see people do (and I find myself doing from time to time, until I kick myself in the butt) is they hang out with other negative people who are complaining about the same things they are.
Don't get me wrong...a good cry/complain seesion/pity party with a good friend is much needed from time to time, but then go find people who you look up to and hang out with them.
One of my big goals of 2010 is to find even more people to look up to and become friends with.
Anything is possible when you make the choice! We are both successful because we have made that choice and do what we need to do.
I look forward to sharing more success stories with you in 2010 (and anyone else who wants to share)

Kudos to both of you ladies for such wonderful, uplifting posts!
Rebecca, I used to be a consultant for HG, and it is such a wonderful company with great products. It wasn't the right fit for me at the time, but I really enjoyed my time with the company, and I wish you much success this year!
