Any one on the H@LO skill how is it? How are the hours?

Training on it right now... take webinar tommorrow. I would love some answers too ANYONE got ANYTHING on this yet ? ? ? Seems like everyone sorta "stuck" on that darn DR line....lol

I worked this line for about a year. Everything was great except for getting hours. You basically had to be there right when they posted which was done sometime Thurs or Fri. They never really let you know when it would be so you had to sit and wait for them. I finally had to resign in Nov 09 because even when I was there right when the hours posted I was still only able to get about 3-4 for the whole week. Hopefully it has picked up some since then since they are hiring again. Good luck!

That's very helpful...... If you want, I'll follow at a later date to let you know if things have change much but, I probaly doubt it.....lol

I see what you mean. I have so far for my first time working I have 5 hours scheduled for this on 2 different days. They actually sent out an email saying "We've added additional hours."

I am new and I was not quite sure where to post this question. About a month ago I went through the West application process and went through a call taking pre training type thing. It was basically one of those jobs were you take orders and read off a script. Not sure of the project name. Anyway, because of some confusion they said they did not get my paper work within the 30 days (although I sent it more than once) and they said I had to start over. So I did and I have not heard anything back yet. So my question is, does anyone know where I can find a job similar to the one West was offering?

There a few different companies similar to West. I would look into Live Ops or Arise.

New here! I'm so glad to see West employees and especially 'H@lo'.
I started my D*mo's today and my head is still spinning on what to do. This is also my first forum and I hope to be able to communicate with a fellow H@lo...have my second D*mo tomorrow---jitters..

I'm done with training, and webinars, and demos and practice sessions....lol STICK A FORK IN ME (smile) I have to wait a few days to get my logins and I can go live and schedule hours (doesn't sound like there will alot of hours to schedule tho) Good Luck to all the new West Employees !!! :)

Done with all H@lo training as well, I contacted "G**W" to inform her I was done with my 3 d*mos and now I wait? I guess for my logins?
TORI2TALL? I see you are a H@lo as well? Did you feel totally comfortable with the practice calls, I cant say I did..:confused:

You do need to make 80% or above to go live ( ex: if you get 10 entermodes you can only have 2 of them with errors) If you've been getting your error report everyday you should be fine as long as you take the notes from the report and improve on them each day. But, the cool thing is if you don't score an 80% or higher your first 3 attempts you are allowed up to 2 more tries for a total of 5 attempts (you need to get it approved through G*** W*** first) I found this out because I failed all 3 tries (smile) it was rough but, on my 4th attempt on my error report it said "I picked up 18 entermodes with 0 errors" that was too cool. To answer your question I was nervous that's why I failed the 3 attempts but, I'm certain you'll be fine. Good luck.... if you have any other question just reply or send me a message. :cool:
