Lionbridge only hires in the following states:
Arizona, Arkansas, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, North Carolina, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Texas, Virginia, Washington and Washington DC.

So even if you are qualified, you will get an "unsuccessful" rater e-mail if you don't live in one of those states. Before I knew what states they hired in, I applied and received an e-mail that told me they don't hire in my state but they would keep my application on file in case they started hiring in my state.

As far as WFL (I saw your other posts), I worked for them for 2 years, but from what I have gathered, they have stopped hiring for the Quality Rater position (about the time Leapforce started hiring for the same job as an Internet Search Evaluator). WFL still advertises for the "Ads Quality Rater" position, but from reading these forums, applicants go months without hearing anything from them. Leapforce seems the way to go--especially if you don't live in one of the states mentioned above. I got on with Leapforce about a week after my contract ended with WFL. I know other WFL raters who have gotten on with LB, so I don't think they care if you've worked somewhere else. Not sure why you quit your Leapforce job, but re-testing doesn't sound fun! So far my experience with Leapforce has been good, but it sounds like they have started letting people go without reasonable explanations. I know the same thing happened with WFL the entire time I worked for them (I would read about raters getting let go nearly every week before their contracts were up), so I think it's just the nature of this job. Good luck!
