I spent the majority of yesterday baking dozens of cookies and several loaves of bread and some muffins as well. I made some death by chocolate cookies (my absolute favorite), pumpkin bread, lemon blueberry bread, white chocolate macadamia nut cookies, and pecan pie mini muffins---I am sufficiently tired, but the results were worth it. Now to get it all ready to go for some last minute Christmas gifts.
All I have left to make is some Death By Chocolate Mint cookies (my husband's favorite)---those are going to my mother-in-law's for Christmas lunch--or rather dessert.
I was proud of myself for only sampling one of each thing...yummm.
How about the rest of you? What are you baking for Christmas goodies?
Blessings,
Melissa

Wow Melissa - your house must have smelled amazing!
My daughter and I made our Whipped Shortbreads last night and that's probably it for baking. We are bringing dips and cheeseballs to my Mom's Christmas Eve.
It's gonna be delicious!

Vicki,
It did smell nice...
Ohh, cooking with your daughter--isn't that so much fun? How old is she? My Megan is 4, and she stayed in the kitchen for the first loaf of bread and first batch of cookies, and then she was bored and wanted to move on to something else.
