Lately with the popularity of selling off old gold and such there have been a few companies popping up that do 'gold' parties, where you can bring your gold and get cash. :0)

I have a friend who does both the gold for cash exchange, and then also has her other business, such as candles, on display as well, so people have immediate cash and can purchase her other products.

She said it has skyrocketed her sales with her party plan company.

I've also heard of doing parties where the host invites both a gold buyer rep and then her favorite party plan company.

Seems to be working well!
