I am some what new to wahm and would like some guidance. I have seen and applied to numerous jobs on here but nothing seems to happen. I noticed that some a couple inparticular ask you to send them your resume before telling you anything about the company but I did one back in october and got no respond. I worry because I'm sending them my info on my resume and have been scam allot before. I have been doing daycare for 3 years and lost all my children due to parents losing there jobs. I am waiting to here back from key for cash. I've applied at call centers but I know it may been a long wait period time. I Have not done any writing before so I'm not sure if that is the route I want to go. I have a 3 yr old and its hard for me with being a sahm tring to find something that I can do with still keeping her at home. I have over 10 years in clerical and admin exp. Not sure where to start. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

I see a lot of legitimate positions posted on this forum where a company will at least give its name. And then you can research the company, such as doing a google search, etc. Also, if any place asks you to pay an up front fee, that should set off a big red flag as well.

I'd recommend applying to as many places as you can. You can also create a resume that has just an e-mail address on it (and take off your phone number and at least part of your street address).

Good luck and I hope you find something very soon.
