What if I simply track the number of tasks and bill an hour for every 30 tasks completed? Foresee any problems with this method?

You need to follow their instructions to the letter or your invoice will probably be rejected. There is a lot of information on the website. To put it simply, you need to bill the amount of time actually worked and the precise times you actually worked.
