I have had many consultants on my team sign up their first few consultants right away and attend BeautiU with their new consultants as a VIP. Of course, there are many that wait until after their BeautiU or even years later before they have the desire to start recruiting.
On our team, we encourage every consultant to share with 3 friends and become a VIP right away. Whether you are in BC to save money or to make money, the smartes thing is to sign up 3 right away so that you can either save 50% or make 50%. Everyone has 3 wrinkley friends that need fabulous skin care!
Personally, I was a consultant for years before I decided to recruit. It reallly is a personal choice and BC gives you so much flexibility to move forward at your own pace.
The most common mistake that I see with new consultants is the tendency to share way too much information. It can be overwhelming. Generally it's better to share your story of why you signed up, give her the details of what she will get if she signs up, then ask her if she is considering it & listen to her. After you have addresses any issues that she has, ask her if she is ready to sign up. Then after she signs up is the time to learn more about the business.
For most consultants, your first recruit, you tend to have to work the hardest on, but after that, it gets easier each time.
Some other tips are to fill in your consultant info on the recruiter line and to also fill in the math with the taxes and shipping before you give them the consultant agreement to fill in. Then you just ask them to fill in their personal info at the top & let them know you will help them withthe rest.
Jump start your trip to Mexico by recruiting in December. Merry Christmas everyone!

Premier, to answer your question, it took me about 3 mos. There was a huge promotion for the beauticase for $99 one month and that made it very easy to offer it as a deal. Of course doing it that way is not a good way because those types of people only wanted a good deal and never worked the business and did not stay active. So really when you go to recruit be sure it's for working the business and not to just sign anyone up. Later when I shifted to this mentality, I found it more difficult to recruit as most people didn't want to do spa parties but it allowed me to weed out the kitnappers and make my sales instead of giving them away for recruits.
Best of luck to you!

It took me about 3 months to get my first two recruits. I wanted to make VIP so I signed up gals that just wanted to be "personal use members". I would suggest offering the business opportunity as a membership so you can get your first three recruits. My up-line Exec. Director says to recruit everyone and see who sticks. You never know when the circumstances will change in their life and they decide they need this.
Hope this helps!

This is fun to reminisce way back. I recruited my first two at my first demo. I had just got in for $129, but it was the end of the month, so no time to tell anybody else about it. So they both paid $295. Ironically, it never went up to $295 during the next 4 years I was in the business!! I didn't know that it was hard to recruit at that price, so I just did it. The mind is a powerful thing!
