Ok, maybe some of you can help me with this.

When you 1st sign up as a consultant your goal is to get $6000 within your 1st two months so you can get to DM status, right? If you don't hit it, then you have a third month to get a total of $7500 to reach DM status. What if you sign up at the very end of the month?

For example: Someone signs up on February 27th, would they only have 1 month & 1 day to get $6000, but if they sign up on March 1st they would get a full 2 months? Is there not a cut off day from when your time starts? I just feel like it kind of hurts peoples chances in the very beginning if they sign up at the end of the month instead of the 1st of the month. Am I making any sense?

I emailed support with this question & all they responded with was a copy of the successplan, which doesn't state anything about this.

TIA!

You are correct...the month in which the person signs on is her start month...whether it's the 1st or the 31st.

As far as qualification -- that doesn't matter, that's the beauty of this biz, it's her decision when to start. You can sign up on March 31st, place your $100 order for the free product...then have $3000 in April and $3000 in May to get DM... or finish in June with $7500 combined. Or, she has every right to hang out and do nothing for 6 months and THEN decide to do the biz & launch in September and finish in October or November!

The only real drawback to signing on late in the month is that it cuts down your decision time to use your RSVP. (And, unless they have changed the trial basis, this is the last month that reaching $1000 will get you to 1st Step.) I know, some people frown at the "RSVP" b/c of volume -- but for someone just wanting the discount, it's a very simple way for her to get a bigger discount.

Remember, you do not have to launch in your start month.

I hope I understood your questions and helped clear things up!

Sarah not sure but think something is wrong! I am still a newbie but think that the month you start up in no matter what the day is month1- so in your example sign up on march 31 (month 1) april (month 2) and may (month 3)

I know I had the same problem- signed up at end of Dec- and was told do 6000 by end of Jan or 7500 by end of feb-

someone who is more knowledgeable- if I am wrong please correct me! Jennifer-Cassandra- Cindi???? I'm sure there are others but those are the ones I know would possibly know the answer!

Actually sarah after rereading your post- think I understand what you were saying!!! me bad!! in your scenerio- you basically start in april with 3000 (need 2500 to start qual process)then either do another 3000 in may or finish up the 7500 in june--

sorry I didnt run the scenerio thru in my head- havent had my coffee this morning!! So ignore me !http://www.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley11.gif

Believe me, I can relate to the coffee being a major necessity! I was concerned that I wasn't understanding your question...

My main points are...

1) Your start month is the month in which you sign up. If it's March 1st or March 31st -- March is your start month (that matters in terms of getting your freebie with your $100 purchase).

2) You do NOT have to start the business in your start month.

3) If you are talking about starting qualification...you are not in qualification until you get $2500 in one month (e.g., if you sign up on March 31st with a $2500 volume -- you are in qualifaction for DM and can finish in April with $6000 combined, or May with $7500 combined).

I hope I didn't complicate thingsor misdirect you, Sarah

Thanks Sarah! If you sign up in March though & invest a $1000 in PRV which puts you in 1st step DM qualifications, then in April you get $2000 from biz builders that you sign-up, then in May you get $2500 in biz builders, you missed it, because you actually needed $4500 in May.

But being you got $2500 in May, does that re-start a qualification period? Also the successplan states that you have to have at least $1000 in PRV during the qualification period, but if you are signing up biz builders the RV doesn't count as PRV it goes under their # & goes towards GRV. Would that mean I would have to invest another $1000 or sell $1000 worth of products during that qualification period?

Just seems that the investment I put in to build my business, may have been for nothing(especially if I don't hit DM by the end of April) & have to re-invest or sell $1000 worth ofproducts in another 3 month qualification period. Don't get me wrong...I don't mind selling the product, but my goal is to get people on my team. I'm not a salesperson, just someone who likes to share. smileys/smiley1.gif

I do know that by me not knowing this upfront before signing on, I'm going to be more aware of this for my future team members when they sign up. My goal is not to just hit management levels, but help my team hit management level also & if they can't do that because they had only 2 months versus 3 months in their 1st qualification period (when they invested in the biz) then that doesn't help me in the long run. I need my team to be able to grow, so I can grow! Does that make any sense?

I sure hope I'm not being too undiscret with the "golden opportunity" business! Don't want to get into trouble or this board get into trouble.
