OK, hope I'm not violating any confidentiality...
So I'm hitting the end of my year one, and I love this gig, but is there any way to tell if I'm going to be picked up again by the way I'm let go? Is that an appropriate question to ask The WFL Powers That Be? I'd hate to wait all that time to reapply to just find out I'm SOL. Also, I thought I read somewhere (either here, or another forum) about going on unemployment in between. Has anyone reading this done that?
TIA!

I was with WFL for 2 years as a Quality Rater (not AQR) and in between my first and second year I was eligible for unemployment. That's the nice thing about working for WFL--you are actually an employee and they pay unemployment insurance, so yes, you can definitely collect when your job ends. The particulars will depend on your state (how much, for how long, etc) but you are definitely eligible.
