Great topic Cindi! We should all learn a lot from this. smileys/smiley32.gif

I have larned valuable lessons from both my RVP & my NVP. I hope to be half as good.

Both are very supportive but in somewhat different ways.

My NVP shares information with us readily. As long as it isn't confidential then she passes it on to us. She's very proactive in learning the best approaches out there & makes sure that she trains all of us in them. As a result we typically know the different variations of ways to do things before it's caught on in the rest of the company. She makes sure she does lots of conference calls, recorded calls & different live trainings on the approaches to teach us. She gets those who are having success to do conference calls for us explaining what they have done.

She also makes sure we have the tools we need to prospect. She puts on discovery meetings monthly & does different recordings that we can call into with a prospect. She's also very good at sharing her verbaige with us.

She is very accessible. She is out there right now doing the approach along with us& helping the team to do calls. However, she makes us be accountable. If you are doing your part then she doesn't let you make any excuses about it or let you slide. She will definitely call you on it. She also is very good about having boundaries.

My RVP followes along the same path as my NVP except she is a little more...tolerant of circumstances. It's hard for her to be as tough as my NVP about the excuses. smileys/smiley1.gif

A road map would be nice or some tracks to follow.
