View Full Version : RE9 Reaction

Hi Everyone,

Has anyone heard of this? My aunt has been using
the RE9 system for about four months. Suddenly, a
couple of weeks ago, she said when she put on the
day cream she would get a horrible burning
sensation in her eyebrow area. I asked if it was the
serum because I've heard of some reactions to the
alpha-hydroxy acids in it. She said it was definitely
the day cream. She said the night cream bothered
her a bit as well, but the day cream was the major
culprit. Finally, she said she got swollen, so now
she's using her basic normal/dry set.

She said she'd go back to the RE9 and give it
another shot. Still, this bothers me, so I decided to
post to see if anyone else has had a similar
experience.

Thanks!

Is this happening above or below the eyebrow area? You really should not use the day or night cream in the eye area because the tissues around your eyes are much too sensitive to it. Also, has she started using something new? Hairspray, shampoo anything like that? I don't know I'm just shooting some ideas your way!

I agree, nothing in eye area but the eye cream. Also ask if she rubbed her eyes and possable irritated the skin before application. Or if she had recently shaved or plucked making it even more sensitive.
