Hey everyone. I am thinking of re-joining BC quit about 2 years ago. Just was a bad time for me. So, I can re-sign under someone different. I think the cost is one of things thats holding me back, last time I joined with the $99 deal. And I think going to the training is also holding me up, because the last time it was just a useless waste of my time, and an hour and a half drive both ways. I'm sure their not like that everywhere but the one I went to was. I love the products though. So, ladies from a business stand point convince me of why I should re-join.

Of course it always depends on you and your own personal why, but here are my reasons. I actually love the training. What area are you in? Maybe there are trainings closer to you now. You can also bring a guest to training now, so if they join at training they are put under you and you can leave training as a Senior Consultant. If they don't, at least you have a friend there with you. :) At least, I know they offer that in my area. Does anyone know if they are offering this company wide yet? I believe they are, but not sure. Are you planning on working or just joining for the discount? If you are working, you will be excited about the new compensation plan. I know when I learned about it at our rally this month (I already knew some, but got a little more in depth info) I was so excited that I couldn't sleep! For those who are really truly working, there will be so much more money to be made in 2010. I love our new Pres and VP, so I think that will be a plus too (I loved Melissa and Kristi and miss them both, but I do think that Albert and Jose Luis are a couple of awesome guys!). They have changed the way they do a lot of things, and I think the changes are positive. As for the cost of the case, you could always go with the smaller case. I would recommend getting some sales though to help pay for the bigger case. I know that not everyone agrees on this, but I really believe in the bigger case. If you sell the inventory that comes in it before you join, then that pays for the entire case, so I am not just encouraging inventory loading or anything like that. I love the way they are doing promotions now, so that is exciting too. They have 2 month promotions more often instead of just the 2 super exciting promotions each year with the trips. I just love BC so much and truly believe in the company and opportunity. Good luck with your decision and know that you have support from the ladies here whatever you decide! :)

HI! I think we've talked about Jafra in the past and I don't want to convince you to chose between BC or Jafra or any other company. I would like to instead ask you to consider WHY you want to look at any company.

What would you want from the business?
What are you willing to invest in learning the business?
Why did you feel the training was a waste of time in the past?
What do you think you can gain from this company and what can you give back to the company?

I know those questions might sound different from some of the thoughts I've seen posted, however, I think that the bottom line has nothing to do with the cost of the sign up, or the training you may or may not have gotten. I'll bet it doesn't even matter who recruited you in the past, or in the future.

Whatever decision you make, it has to come from between your ears and from within your heart. Listen and let your inner being drive you forward to your decision.

Too many people want to be convinced to join a company. If I had to convince or bribe you, you are just getting a sign up package. You won't ever do the business, or follow my leadership because you weren't in the business for the business. You joined for a good deal and that is the end of the story.

I just rejoined BC for the 3rd or 4th time. I have my reasons and I still am working through them. No one can convence you of anything, it is up to you if you want to rejoin or not. this is something you are going to have to work through. I chose not to attend the training. It was to far for me to drive. So I would say ask your self why you want to rejoin and why you left. We are here to help and listen but we cant make your life. good luck to you

Wonderful news about BeautU!!!!

this is great news because when I went the first time it was 8-5!!!

this is something I can recommend because it doesn't "wear people out" and take their whole day to do.

Got to say some of the ideas coming out of BC now are really new and different such as the new freedom plan.

Sherri- Any other news you can share from Director Summit? I don't have an upline, so any news you can share would be really helpful! Specifically, I am wondering about the vip discount. If we order less than $500, will we still get an automatic 50% discount?

Yes, As soon as you have your 3 active consultants you will always be a VIP & get 50% discount with every order as long as you have 3 active consultants.

The $500 order and $1000 team volume is to earn your comissions. This new plan is soooo smart. My favourite part of summitt was hearing the "why" behind each aspect of the new plan. and I'm sure as the new year comes, there will be many ways for you to learn about the plan too. We tend to learn best in "bite size chunks ". So ,the new personal and team sales volumes were really started to encourage you right from the beginning to think as the leader of your own personal team. Not just to sign up people for a deal, but to show them how to hold one or 2 spas a month, and get your first 10 skin care clients to build a strong business base where you are making money each month.

The entire new plan is geared to reward sharing your products and your business, with tons more flexibility and a more consistent and more easily achievable path to Directorship and beyond.

Some really smart things about the new plan: discount structure~
Begininning in January, there will be a minimum of $150 in sales in a rolling 3 month period to stay active as a consultant. A few cool things: This is cumulative, it does not have to be one order! Most all of our future sales promotions will align with the $150 active level, or the $750 level to get and keep a 50% discount. Web sales count into this total, so promote your Beautipage. AND, you have 12 months where you are considered inactive, but can place your $150 order to reactivate at any time in that 12 months. So say you are currently only ordering $100 every 4 months, you can now order $150 every 6-8 months and still get your discount. Much more flexibility. Oh, and when you reactivate, you keep your recruits. You only loose your downline after 15 months of not ordering!

The other cool thing is that the discount levels will be cumulative. Now, it is per order, in January, it will be per month. My favourite part is when you have a cumulative total of $750 in sales in any month, you will get 50% on that order, any other orders you place that month and the following month too.

Big picture is BeautiControl will now be investing a larger % into consultant compensation. In the past, more has been spent on promotions ( the purses, jewelry & trips that we can earn ) and less on paychecks. That has now been reversed and more of the pie is being invested in consultant compensation and less on incentives. Bottom line, earning an extra $500 a month that your family counts on will keep your BeautiControl business a lot more consistent thatn earning a purse or Dog tags. ( you will continue to see those, but not as much as before )

Best promotions & ordering incentives of the month will always be in week 1 and week 2 of each month to Jump start your month.

We will have less small product intros every month and larger product introduction of new lines at the beginning of each quarter. Look for a New Spa Manicure and BC Spa Body line in January. This will be simpler for you and allow you time to get to know the line and use it and share it.

They are focusing on buiilding the BC spa brand, so more of our line will carry this simple name, simple packaging with clinical strength products, and look like they all come from the same line.

Lots is changing, but it is only getting better and adding to your possibilities with BeautiControl. Give the new programmes and compensation plan a chance to work for you. Under most of the scenarios, that we saw, you will be able to make much more at each level.

It sounds like they are really making some great changes for the benefit of the Reps. I have used some BC skin care items in the past for my teenage son (acne) and they are really great products!

Something I didn't realize til I got to looking at the freedom plan this morning.

BC has changed the discount structure. It used to be $100 25% and if you ordered $101 it was 30%. Now you have to order $150 to get 30'%.

It was $100 retail every four months and now its $150 every three months. Even though that may be cumulative (which is good) that means small orders just give you 25% which pretty much pays for the postage.

$100 every four months is $400 a year. $150 every three months is $600. As far as I can see, this is more important if you are active and wanting to keep your commission going.

Ifr you order in January, you are good for Jan Feb and March. April you have to order $150 again to stay active, is that right?

Of course these things will have to be figured out and explained, but I didn't really realize until today that BC has made a big change in the percentage level. And some of you may say 5% isn't that much, but to some people it is.

This is really going to knock out some personal users which is what BC wants.
