I was recently hired. I have worked for another virtual call center and used VOIP. Now I see on the West website that VOIP phones are allowed now, just not supported by tech.

I was wondering if anybody has any experience with using one? Mainly vonage. I want to use vonage. Anybody doing this?

I thought about Magic Jack but Magic Jack doesnt let you disable call waiting, etc. Vonage lets you. So there should be no reason why we can't use it.

Anybody have any experience with it?

I used Skype when I worked for West. Worked great.

Vonage will work perfectly.

i also use voip. not vonage or skype tho.

to the person that use skype, is there a way that you can disable the call waiting?

I have been using vonage for a good while with West now and to excellent results, Vonage quality is good, now on my vonage line every now and then if I make a call to my sister the quality is a little choppy but for some reason when I recieve calls it's always 100 million pefect which is all recv. with West.

So yes, Vonage and West work fine!

(PS On Vonage account page in features you can disable VM and Call Waiting)
