I applied to LF on Tuesday and received an approval e-mail within an hour! I got my exam on Wednesday night, which I just finished the 2nd part yesterday. I should hear whether I passed or not after noon on Monday (when the exam is due). I HOPE I PASSED!

I applied about 2 weeks ago and was accepted within a few hours. I finished my test this week and am now a LF rater. I'm a former WFL rater as well.

I submitted an online application last Thursday, but have yet to hear anything, and my status on their website doesn't seem to have changed. Were those of you who DID hear back contacted by e-mail, or did you find out you had been selected by logging back in to their site?

Just my $0.02. I've noticed that when I apply (I've applied multiple times) that the locations in the "Referred By" field constantly changes. Therefore I think they look for people in different areas of the country at different times. Also, I had a friend who was repeatedly turned down when he lived in CA but reapplied with his parents address in a different state and was accepted right away. So, in my opinion, they are either too busy to reject every application, or they are holding on to them to evaluate when they hire in that state again.

I forget that geography matters sometimes with these positions. Kaylinda and kbud, are either of you in California?

Maybe I live in the "wrong" state. Bummer. I was so hoping to get back into this work after my first year with WFL ended recently!

I live in GA and have applied 3 times since September and have not received any feedback or emails from them. My application status has not changed on their website so I don't know what they are looking for or how they make their selections. All I know is that I am tired of getting new gmail accounts just to keep applying and feeling turned down by their lack of response. I am a former LB rater so I wonder if that could have something to do with it. But I did see that someone posted that they were a former WFL rater so who knows.
