Hello All,
Anyone have any good party games? I would like to change my parties up a little, especially for hostesses who book from a previous party, would like the games to be at least be a little different. I like poems but aren't crazy about games that require me to make copies of anything.
Anyone ever heard of something called "How well do you know your hostess?" That one sounds funny and I read about that one somewhere.Any suggestions?

depends what biz your in.. lol.. I have a game how well do you know your hostess, but unless your in my kind of line.. Im thinking your hostess would be alittle wierded by you asking her those ?'s.. lmfao
Heres a game i just played at my last party.. The brown paper bag game.. You put brown paper bags on all their heads, and ask them to remove one article that you do not need.. of course they are removing socks and stuff.. it's sooo funny.. after acouple turns i start taking off the bags and i told them prior they cant' talk.. So when i ttake it off.. i say shh..

I love playing games at parties!
Here are several:
Whats In Your Purse?
</span>First person to hold up item gets a point or monopoly dollar.
Call off items one at a time:</span>
Keychain
Check
Grocery receipt
debit/credit card
lotion
pacifier for baby
feminine hygeine product
tube of lipstick
mirror
photograph
PDA
"Who am I?"</span>
Since I am in a bath and body biz, I'd do this using our scents. You could tailor it to be names of your products, famous people, whatever you want.
As each guest arrives, put a post it on their back. Mine will be labeled with our scents
"Sweet Pea"</span><br style="color: rgb(153, 0, 51);">"Honeysuckle"</span><br style="color: rgb(153, 0, 51);">"Pearberry"</span><br style="color: rgb(153, 0, 51);">"Banana"</span><br style="color: rgb(153, 0, 51);">"Grape"</span><br style="color: rgb(153, 0, 51);">"Lavendar"</span>
etc
They have to ask each other yes/no ?'s until they figure out "who" they are. First 2 pple to get their identity figured out wins a prize.
"Sorry about that!"</span>
Spend 2 minutes of your presentation doing this game.</span><br style="color: rgb(153, 51, 204);">Tell guests that for each ? they ask about products they get one card (you have 2 suites, #s2-9, hand out all the say diamonds and keep the hearts for yourself). For each ? they ask about the BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY they get 2 cards. </span>
Answer ?s and hand out cards. Start drawing from your pile of the suite you kept for yourself. As you draw a card, call it out. Whoever has that can pick from one of 3 prizes you have.</span>
Once all 3 prizes are gone, guests can steal a gift from someone else, but they must say "SORRY ABOUT THAT!". Once all cards are collected whoever is left holding a prize may keep it.</span>
Very fun in a competitive crowd!</span>
Book to Look</span>
Put slips of paper w/ a free gift listed on them (Free Shipping, Free tube of body butter, free bath scrunchie, 50% off any necklace, Free board book, whatever). Put the slips of paper in an envelope (or easter egg for upcoming shows---just to be festive!).
Give each person one when they arrive and tell them NOT to open it.</span><br style="font-style: italic;">
At the end tell what good hostess benefits there are, etc etc and if theyd like to claim the prize listed inside all they have to do is book a show with you! (You bring prize to them AT their show. This guarantees you won't get scammed!)
*You can add a fun variety to this buy putting the paper slips in balloons, having each guest blow up and tie theirs. Then they can pop the balloon if htey book a show. Hostess gets a balloon too, with a bigger prize listed inside. She can pop hers if she gets 3 bookings.</span>

I've never had any luck with games, but my guests always love my poems. I usually make one up based on the date...holidays or the party themes..Here's one for earrings if you have a party full of women as moms night out or just coming home from work. It's lots of fun if they don't know about it.
There is a bling item
Found in bellies, noses and ears
When our kids pull them
It brings us to tears
<?:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
Some are hidden by hair
While others have Flair
Gemstones represent a birthday
Diamonds are for wedding days
But if your ear shows the biggest pearl
Here’s a gift that’ll make you twirl
We may all be from a different age group
But we can all get away with a hoop
some are silver, Some are small
Who has the biggest one of all?
The smallest stud,
can be a flower bud
There are some that tangle
Who’s got the most dangle
You’ve won the prize
But for a big surprise
Before I talk about bowls
Who’s got the most holes?
SLAH gives us credit to go towards business supplies and one of the items we can purchase is our mini-southerlinving cookbooks. These are great little giveaways.

Here are a couple How well do you know yor Host games - you just need to change a few words to apply to your Biz - also included a few others that are fun - I have gotten these from other Reps and Groups over time - Hope they help
Tonja
How well do you know your hostess?
What is her birthday? (extra point for year) 1 pt
What is her middle name? 3pts
What is she doing this summer? 2pts
How many siblings does she have? 2pts
What is her childhood’s pet name? 4pts
What is her favorite color? 1 pt
What is her favorite drink? 2pts
What is her favorite movie? 3pts
What is her favorite ice cream? 2pts
Does she prefer ketchup, mustard, or relish(pick 1)? 1 pt
What is the one habit she most hates in men? 1 pt
Who is her favorite band/singer? 2pts
How tall is she? 1 pt
What does she do for a living? 2pts
Does your hostess own Tupperware? 3pts
Do YOU own Tupperware? 5pts
Would you like to have a party and get some 10 pts Tupperware for FREE like your hostess?
How well do you know your hostess?
Give a piece of paper to your guest and have them number it from 1-10
then ask them the following questions.
1) What is your hostess’s favorite color?
2) If she could have any vehicle what would it be?
3) How many kids does she have?
4) What is her favorite hobby?
5) Who is her favorite actor/actress?
6) What is her favorite item on the table?
7) What is her favorite scent (can be a perfume)?
8)What is her favorite cartoon / cartoon character?
9) What is her favorite animal?
10) If you were in need of something would your hostess give it to
you if she can?
After everyone answers the questions then I read the question again to the hostess and she will reply out loud what her answer is, and they would mark on the paper if they got it right or wrong. Then they total up their score.
Now you can rearrange or change any of these questions but this gives
you an ideal of a game you can play.
I put the last one in there and saved it for last cause this is a way to lead into how your guest can get free products and help your hostess at the same time for having a
party. Cause right now your hostess needs something from them that they are the only ones that can give it to her, and that is to book a party so she can get more free products. The one with the most answers correct gets something from the goodie bag.
What's on the Table?
Put several different Tupperware items out on a table with a covering over it. When you take the covering off give the guests about 1 minute to look everything over then re-cover it. Then they have about 3 minutes to write down as many things as possible. Usually 15-20 items is a good rule of thumb. You can then work these things into your presentation too.
Getting to know you
Those of you who came from far,
Give yourself 5 if you came by car.
Were you on time, not a minute late?
That’s a virtue - give yourself 8!
A watch is 6; each ring is 2,
And then 10 more if your eyes are blue.
Give yourself 5 if you show any pink -
But minus 10 if you left dishes in your sink.
Count all your buttons, each gives you 1,
Except if they’re white, then give yourself none.
One for each year that you’ve been wed,
But take away 5 if your shoes are red.
If you kissed your husband or boyfriend today add 20.
But if you kissed them both you’re in trouble a-plenty!
Daughters are sweet, so for each add 3,
Are boys worth more? For each, give 4.
We’re almost ready to add up the score -
If you brought a friend, add 20 more!
And there’s one more for the VIP -
If you’ll be a hostess - add forty!
Have You Ever?
1. Locked yourself out of the house?
2. Lost a member of the family while out shopping?
3. Put something unusual into the refrigerator?
4. Turned white clothes another color?
5. Gone away from home and left the iron on?
6. Put your heel through the hem of a dress?
7. Had your zipper break in public?
8. Gone somewhere with two different shoes or socks on?
9. Remembered an appointment after it was too late?
10. Called a member of your family by another name?
11. Fallen up the stairs?
12. Gone shopping for groceries and discovered you did not bring any
money with you?
13. Driven away from somewhere while a member of your party was still
out of the car?
14. Locked your keys in the car?
15. Dialed a phone number and forgot who you called?
16. Got into your car to go somewhere and forgot where you were going?
17. Put something in the oven and forgot about it.
18. Woke up in the morning and could not remember where you were?
Ask the questions and give auction money for their answers. It will
liven up your crowd. If you get them laughing and having a good
time, you will get them booked.
