Hi Adrienne,
Here are some great sites: www.candlecauldron.com (http://www.candlecauldron.com) www.candlesupply.com (http://www.candlesupply.com) and if you go to Yahoo groups, there is a great candle group called Candle Making Survival.
Good luck!

If you are just starting out and want to dabble, I would go to the dollar store, WalMart, KMart or Michaels. Most of the stuff they sell that is votive size should work for you.
Now, if you want to jump right in, these are a few places that I buy jars:
http://www.cierracandles.com/containers.aspx (http://www.cierracandles.com/containers.aspx)
http://www.jarstore.com/default.htm
http://www.fairwayglass.us/
http://www.candlesupply.com
I'm all ears if you need help! Have fun!

Never! I really love making candles and it has become a passion for me. I also love sharing my passion! smileys/smiley36.gif
Labels:
http://www.brownkraftlabels.com/store.asp
This is the cheapest and best lable company that I have found. While it says kraft labels, they do have other options available.
I also forgot to mention this candle glass supplier that I LOVE!
http://www.yessupplyco.com/ The prices here are the BEST!

I forgot to mention a sealer for your labels. They have this acrylic spray stuff at Walmart that you can spray over your labels to seal them. Let me see if I can find out the name.
I personally do not use the sealer, but I here it works well.

uh, peggy, you may have to take a rain check on that candle. i burned it and it smells "cheap and weak" may take some work to get them better. are you familiar with circle e candles made in fredericksburg? my favorite. i keep them in my house. they have a rich smell to them, and that's what i'm looking for. if only i knew thier secret.
meanwhile, i'm going to start pushing my cakes (incase you ever need one) and i've invested alot of time into bath and body products, so......
