I have to say - everytime that I go to Amazon and click on books that I want to get for my daughter....lately they have been how to draw different thing type books....they are ALL Usborne books! I just realized this the other day. I looked in my Wish list and of 15 books - 12 of them were Usborne books.

That is so telling to me!

Just had to share!

Ella

PS - thinking really seriously about joining just so I can get the discount! LOL

LOL! I joined for the discount. The kit this month is $59 and the kit for Dec. is $49. :-)

Granted, now I'm a supervisor, president's club achiever, trip earner, with a fabulous team of book lovers... But you can do it just for the discount too. ;-)

And we have over 1400 books! Woohoo!

I signed up for the discount quite a while ago. So, I'm inactive and don't have a website. What is the easiest way for me to take advantage of the Black Fri specials? There are a couple things I'm interested in, but haven't ordered in a while and wasn't sure the best way to go about it.

Thanks a bunch!
Jenn

Jenn,

Couple different options...

You can renew your website for another year- it's 50.00 for the entire year- but if you do it now- you can email friends/family to shop on your site for the black friday specials- and might just make that $$ back in commission from the weekend.

Or- you can order from your sponsor/supervisor's site. While you won't get the commission- the books are a great discount! (I will be ordering some of them myself!!!)

Ella- you would be surprised at how many succesful consultants joined "just for the discount"..lol. Since we do not have monthly/yearly sales quotas- it is really nice to be able to get the wholesale price- and perhaps even some extra $$ if you have people who shop from you! I think I am one of the few who DIDN'T join for the discount..but to make it a business instead- haha!

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

Once you are a consultant, you are always a consultant. That is one thing I love. Didn't you join recently, in the past year?

If you joined less then 6 months ago, your website should still be there! Ask your sponsor for the link.

I was a discount buyer..... 3 trips, 2 President's Clubs, 3 promoted team members, and a heck of a lot of fun later...... I love these books. :-)

What is the percentage on the discount when you become a consultant?

Syvella,

Our commission (which is then our discount) is 25%...but we as consultants also have access to discounted books when we place an order that are 65-75% off retail.

Would you like me to email you information?

You make between 17 - 30%, there are many variables, plus as Dawn said, great discounts available when you place an order as a homeshow. It helps to look at the commission structure, and keep in mind that the discount is the commission. :-)

I started for the discount. :-)

Good luck in your research!
