Hey Everyone!

I have been total MIA here, because this season is the biggest I've ever experienced.

Are you having fun through this amazing candle season?

If anyone thinks there is a recession going on, then they need to change their thinking.

The momentum is really amazing. Zig Ziglar refers to it as priming the pump. Ya really gotta work work it in the beginning without much reward.

But once the water starts flowing, you only need to move the pump handle a bit.

Same with this business. Getting a business off the ground does take a lot of work, there's no denying that. Booking parties, events, fundraisers, etc does take work.

But eventually, you are able to create more business from those original creative bookings. The business starts to flow...and does the money.

This season is the BEST time to get the pump primed! We still have a month before x-mas. Lots of time!

So how's everyone doing?:D

Totally agree...I have had two new team mates in two days....sold hundreds of dollars worth of candles today...I am on cloud nine.
If you walk the walk and talk the talk people are going to radiate towards you....I am a great example of that.
If you love what you do it does not seem like work....I love what I do!!

I LOVE what I do too.:-)

Love watching my team grow so fast this time of year
and of course, sales are awesome

My brother uses a simmer pot in his stores, and many customers of mine ordered from me simply because they smelled whichever scent he was melting that day when they came in to shop and inquired or commented about it and were given a catalog . Our scents are soo amazing.

I totally agree! I just finished and delivered an awesome open house fundraiser, a large order on that, and this week I have a new team member ( someone who purchased a candle from me at a flea market a couple of months ago), when the mineral makeup came out I sent a letter out about that and my basket parties (that I have since changed to bag parties) I had a customer call me and we set up a bag party. this is all within a week of my fundraiser. The really fun thing is that I never went out and ASKED! This has all come from word of mouth, sales at shows, and a mailing. I can tell you that even tho we have been in a "recession" for over a year, my candle sales are higher this year than they have ever been.
