Hello,

My assignment as a quality rater ended in June. I sent in my resume for the ads quality rater in June, August and September with no response.

I called WFL and all they could tell me was that "G had a maximum number of people that they are allowed to hire each week. so they are back logged".

Has anyone been hired recently? If so how long ago were you hired and how long before that did you apply?

I haven't heard of WFL rehiring any QRs at all, nearly all year; I know they've hired at least one AQR from this forum recently, but even that's the first I've heard in months. My friend's term ended as a QR last September and he's been told repeatedly that they aren't hiring quality raters. Neither of us has had any luck being rehired as Ad Raters...

Have you heard of anyone being hired by LB or LF as an Ad Rater after finishing with WFL as a QR?

I ended my year as a Quality Rater for WFL at the end of January 09, waited the requisite 3 months, and then applied for the Ads RAter position. I've kept applying with them on and off since that time, but no response. I applied with LF for at least 4 months before I received a response and am now working with them as a Rater, but I still apply for Ads Rater every couple of weeks. I know a lot of former WFL's have had a hard time getting hired on w/ LF, but I know of at least 2 other people, plus myself who are former WFL workers and are now w/ LF.

WFL will see that you are working for LF and reject your application or at least thats what I have read from peoples experiences.

Thanks for all your responses.

I called WFL today and they said that G will only hire temps for 2 assignments. Since I worked my first year as a QR and almost a second year as a QR, I do not qualify to work for G anymore within the same or another position as a temp.

I'm not sure if that includes working with LB or LF.

From what I understand, LF's Search Engine Evaluator (SEE) position is the same as LB's Internet Assessor (IA) position and WFL's Quality Rater (QR) position, but different than WFL's Ads Quality Rater (AR) position.

I've read (in forums) that those working as a WFL QR are not also able to work simultaneously as an LF SEE (their applications get rejected by LF), which makes sense as it's the same G rater position, through different companies. But would raters *not* with WFL (i.e. ones instead working as an LF SEE / LB IA) be allowed to also work WFL's Ads Quality Rater position simultaneously, because that's a different position? Or would they not be allowed to do so because the AR position also works with G's projects (albeit different ones)?

Hopeful one...I don't think so. I was an AQR with WFL (resigned back in April). When I originally tried to get on with LF in September, I was rejected because I was shown as still working as an AQR for WFL. I had to clear it up with LF to show that I no longer worked for WFL before I was able to start with LF. HTH.
