So my next door neighbor just promoted to RVP and she went shopping for her car! I found this out by a casual conversation with her hubby the other day! I had heard about the company before but I never really knew anything about it. I told him to send her over this week, I am anxiously awaiting her visit.
I was laid off at 8 months pregnant and now my baby is 8 weeks old and I have a new job starting in Dec so I have time to get off the ground and running. I've tried candle companies and 'that wellness company' without success. Mostly because my sponsors are no where near me. Since she is right next door my hope is that my support will be strong.
I was wondering, what about Abronne is so successful? I found with my other companies everyone (prospects) I talked to already heard of the company and attended a meeting and was turned off. I'm really into getting toxins out of my home and I understand that the Arbonne products are super healthy for you. I already have a friend in mind for the baby products (as well as myself!).
My only issue is that I already have told all my friends and family about all the other businesses I've tried so I can't share with them. How do you go about obtaining cold market leads? What other pieces of advice could you offer me?
Thanks!

Good for you for considering it! You know I tried a 3 or 4 home businesses until I realized that Arbonne was the one I was looking for as well. You could say something like "I have been looking and looking for the right fit and I finally found it. I'm excited to share with you my business 'home." Or something to that effect. That is what I did and people appreciated it. I almost made a joke out of my history of businesses.
Also...I have also been in the wellness company and I can tell you Rbon is SO much easier to me and I have already seen so much success. This is the beginning of my 5th month and I am already halfway to earning my mercedes as well. People appreciate being able to shop at discount but without having to order every month like in the other. Plus the products are amazing. I don't have to SELL anything. I get samples in their hands or let them try them out at a party and the results speak for themselves.
Congrats on your baby by the way!
:) Health, wealth and happiness!

Thanks for the reply! Yeah, my hubby makes fun of me all the time for all the businesses I've tried. At least they have not cost me much money or else he'd be mad! I just think that this would be more successful since you can get the discount without the re-order requirement, but I'm hoping that they will re-order, fortune in the follow up!
I can't wait to hear what she has to say, I've done some research and seen the online presentation but I'm looking forward to her visit. I might pop over there during naptime to see when she can come over. Her daughter who is 21 and in college is close to promoting as well and getting her Mercedes! That is what excited me is that the both of them are doing so well and the husband just said it is such a blessing to them that he shares it too! He's already planning his retirement!
I think it would be easier to approach folks with samples in hand and the opportunity for home parties. I've already done some thinking and I was going to do an open house party with my local folks here (I don't know many but some is better than none, we're in the Navy and move alot). I was also thinking of combining a Holiday Shopping party after my grand opening and inviting other companies so everyone can do one-stop shopping. Like kids toys, candles, food and @rbonne of course! I would ask those other companies to do a party swap with me, since I'm having a party for them, they could have a party for me and I could get more exposure through working like that. I did that with the Pampered Chef and it worked well to get my business going. Anyway, I've got lots of ideas. I can't wait to try the ABC line for my kids, my baby boy has some pretty bad baby acne and I'd like it to go away, I think he's sensitive to the current baby stuff out there.
Anyway, super excited and glad to hear of someone else in my position. Congrats to you for making it this far, good luck on promoting!
