I am looking to do Country Bunny for personal use, i really love there products and it is the only lotion I will use on my son. Gloria Brice will sponsor me she is a good friend. I don't want to do home parties, I am tired of spinning my wheels there ( I was a homedmade gourmet rep for 3 years) I am a military wife, husband is gone for a year and i really do not want to spend my time doing home parties. Gloria says she does conventions , but again with a 2 year old that has two speeds fast and faster it is hard some of the times well most of the times to find someone to watch him that I feel ok with. Any suggestoins? Also I hope to be moving us to our next duty station soon, Fort Leavenworth, KS so I will be starting there. Traci I am sure you can relate somewhat to this, I am currently at Fort Leonard Wood, MO.

Lisa~

I can relate as Todd is on recruiter duty and his schedule is not consistant. Before that he drove boats. Gloria is a great lady and a wonderful sponsor. I have found that having sitters for the kids has helped a ton. I enjoy the craft events as it gets me "girl time" and I really enjoy meeting people. However, you can work the business by word of mouth, like Heidi said, and be successful Feel free to e-mail me at any time, should you have any questions.

Can someone tell me how to find craft fairs?

How much do you usually pay (highs and lows) to participate?

I'm very interested in doing craft fairs, but I haven't had any luck finding them. Can you find them free of charge or will I need to sign up and pay a fee to search?

Thanks

You can find craft show listings online, through your local chamber of commerce, in the newspaper and even in the local family magazines that you can pick up at grocery stores.

They come in all sizes and prices. I've paid as little as $10 (or FREE!) to $150 for the larger one that I do twice a year. It all depends. It's a gamble. Some are not worth doing again, some are goldmines. You just have to give them a try for yourself and see how it pans out for you.

I don't pay to find anything. The internet has everything you need to find events.... you just have to put forth the effort and dig.

Good luck!

Here is where I find all my craft fairs: Craftlister.com (http://www.craftlister.com) They will even email you every few days with updates on local expo's/fairs happening near you and it is free. You can also set up a profile with them for free so that promoter's of craft shows can find you. smileys/smiley1.gifEdited by: CBBBShannon
