Hi all. I have just completed my registration and am awaiting details on when I will schedule my first shift. I am so excited, and being a full time mother-with no full time dad- this will be a perfect way to get a little extra money. Does anyone have any advice, as I am a little nervous that I won't do as good as I hope. Also I am not against making new friends, especially with stay at home moms like myself, so feel free to contact me!

Well the most important thing about passing the tests are being able to clearly conduct quick and efficient web searches, whilst being able to be helpful and friendly. I will admit that some of the questions asked are a bit difficult but not impossible to locate if you have the proper resources. The best place to get information for me is www.bing.com (http://www.bing.com), although some people may say otherwise. Have you passed the challenge yet? If not, there is no need to worry, as you are allowed to take the challenge as many times as you want until you pass. Once you have passed the challenge, you will be able to start the training required to begin. Don't worry about the training too much, basically all it is is simple reading and remembering what you read. The training takes about anywhere from an hour to two or three, depending on your reading level. After the training has been passed, you are able to move on to the text-handling simulation. I had to take it twice to pass it so if you fail, it's okay, don't get discouraged, most times they will let you take it more than once if you don't completely flunk it.

Taken the text-simulation and passed? Congratulations, because you are about to become a full fledged kgb_ special agent!

Once you receive the email, they will ask you to input your personal information (note: you will need a SSN or a Tax Payer Identification Number and a Bank account number, if you don't have an account most banks will allow you to open one in no time. Bank of America is my bank of choice, and I have a checking account with them. I was able to open it online, without any going to the bank to fill out info.)

Once you have properly filled out all your information you will be ready to begin shadowing as an agent, which is basically just like a short term training program-but I still believe that you get paid for the time you spend 'shadowing'-and after you have received so many good reviews you will be able to become an actual Special Agent!

Good job, and congratulations. I have to warn you though, for me the most difficult part was the text simulator, mostly because I was worried about my time. They don't time you, however it is best to try and get good time on it just so you can be prepared-REMEMBER! Having a fast time without having a thorough proper answer is not a good way to go, when you do the simulator and even when you begin to shadow, always remember this. Research your answers thoroughly and make sure you have a proper source to back it. Another thing is character count, they are NOT lenient on this, and going over even one number can cause problems, but sometimes you can get away with leaving out the errant period or comma, exclamation point, etc.
