Hi,
I'm new to this forum, even if I've read it in the past. I've been a rater for 3 years with LB, but at the end of october I've received an email telling me I was out of the program. My quality rate was good (five stars in october, five-four stars in other months). So my question is, why have I lose my job? Yes, in my country there weren't many tasks available at the moment, but I know that LB is still hiring here...There is anyone in the same situation?

You may want to try another forum that has an entire folder devoted to LB--wplh.com(work place like home). You will find tons of information there on the LB rater job. This forum is mainly for WFL raters.

Thank you for the hint, pixi

There were a bunch of long-standing raters in the UK let go by LB within the last couple of weeks, as discussed in the LB Internet Assessor thread on the MoneyMakerGroup forum. The thread page that first mentions this is at:
Lionbridge Technologies Internet Assessor Job (http://www.moneymakergroup.com/Lionbridge-Technologies-I-t131184.html&st=9360)

Sorry that you were let go! Could you be eligible for the other LB positions (Labeling Editor, Internet Judge) that another MoneyMakerGroup forum member subsequently mentioned in that thread?

It seems there are a lot of people in the same situation of mine :(
It's a very sad situation because the Labeling editors and the Internet Judge positions are for US only, and I'm in Europe. Anyway, today LB website says they are not hiring in my country anymore. At this point I think probably there isn't much more to do in my country for Google.

I didn't know that I though it was for all raters?

This is definitely for all raters! In fact, WFL raters are in the minority since they aren't hiring for Quality Raters anymore (only Ads Raters). I think Leapforce has the most raters on this site now, but there are definitely LB raters here too. I think the distinction may be between the raters working for Google and the LB raters working for Microsoft. LB has two different positions--the one we all do here, and another one for Microsoft. I think the other link is most likely for the Microsoft LB position.

I think it doesnt meant only wfl but does anyone have any clues about what is happening.

He s been 3 years ( I only thought they allowed 2 years), and he s out of the program.. so I think people can work more than 2 years for LB -- the question is how to keep working there

Hi all, did not mean to be misleading, this forum is for all raters. There is a lot more information on the "work place like home" site for LB, an entire folder, which I thought the original poster on this topic would find helpful. This site originally was mostly all WFL. But now that there are almost no more raters for WFL (except ad raters) more of the other contracters(LF, LB) are starting to post here, which is great, as it would be good to have a site with all the helpful information on it. Again sorry for any confusion....

Just F.Y.I. I was looking at the LB website tonight . . . It says they are no longer hiring for the Internet Assessor position in the U.S. (the Google job). They are still offering the Internet Judge job for Microsoft--it is a 20 hour per week job and is an employee position.

Yes, for LB there isn't any time limit for the job in the contract, anyway I think after a certain period they let the old raters to go :(
